Give your agent the right tools and it gets much better at inverse graphics - turning reality into editable, simulation ready 3d worlds
GPT-6 Astra can build 3D scenes from video. But how can we make them more accurate, physically plausible, and richly interactive? We tackle this by integrating 3D vision tools (Pi3X, SAM3, GVHMR/Kimodo, and Blender sim) into Astra’s agentic workflow. 👇 kevinxu02.github.io/real2sim…

At this point its no secret anymore that tomorrow "o" (or "Aeon") will be revealed, OpenAIs always-on-agent. The hire of Peter Steinberger is going to pay off. After the events of the last few days, all eyes will be on the newest models. OpenAI held the lead for a long time, pushing Anthropic into the background. Now the tables have turned. Many rumors are circulating; we'll see what's true tomorrow. However, I think Astra will at least receive an update to demonstrate, on its most important day, that it remains the dominant player.
Get ready.

A few things that jumped out at me from this post by a sober cybersecurity staff member at OpenAI: "OpenAI has publicly announced a solution [to Navier-Stokes] produced by an internal model, alongside advances across many domains in mathematics. To say it lightly: this surprised the fuck out of us. We had not expected it this soon. Suddenly we weren’t dealing with just a small jump in capabilities; we were talking about a different sport altogether." "As I hinted above, surprise is a real element, and these model capabilities are staggering. And the pace is not slowing. I believe, like many, that it will speed up, and considerably." "I have seen many things over the past few months that have surprised me again and again and again. And each day I wake up thinking, 'oh, I’ve seen it all,' only to be surprised and left dumbfounded once more."
