The "Golf Sicko" threshold is set at 80%. Pretty fitting to win the biggest event of your career/life during the same week as National Golf Lovers Day for @joohyungkim0621. 👏👏👏
2027 gets another interesting storyline...
Andrew Bailey spent the U.S. Open in June working the merch tent. A volunteer shift for Holderness & Bourne, the brand he reps for his day job.
He was playing mini tours until a broken wrist in 2015 ended that run. Fast forward 11 years and 12 USGA starts later, Bailey just won the U.S. Mid-Am. Next summer, he’s teeing it up at Pebble Beach for the U.S. Open.
Bucket hat. Bucket list.
Wyndham Clark, Rickie Fowler, Max Homa, Tom Kim, Hideki Matsuyama, Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele, Adam Scott, Jordan Spieth & Justin Thomas—loaded field in Japan next week.
You really couldn’t script the uniform any better.
Tom Kim just won individual gold for South Korea at the Asian Games, earning an exemption from the country’s mandatory military service in the process. And he did it wearing Korean golf brand WAAC. WAAC stands for “Win At All Costs.”
Of all the weeks to wear it… what a cool little detail to an already incredible story.
Tom Kim has earned gold at the Asian Games!🥇
With a final round 64, he wins the individual title to avoid mandatory active-military service for South Korea.
So @PingTour signed BYU Sophomore, Kihei Akina, who was National Freshman of the Year. Kihei is also signed by Nike. Really interesting to see if Jackson Koivun's early success adds a sense of urgency for brands to sign young NIL golf talent...
Before we get completely swept up in October baseball, let's appreciate the Dodgers ace's elite speed, sequencing, and a move that looks exactly like Chris Gotterup’s.
