This could be made using the LEGO slide elements. Just pulled out my slide pieces to see, not as tight a spiral as this amazing machine but maybe possible.
Are you teaching students about electrical circuits in science🔋? Why not teach this alongside coding using the micro:bit?
👉Learn about flowchart algorithms, selection and inputs & outputs, as well as the conductivity of different materials ⚡️

My Year 9s were asked to design and build a fairground attraction with photocopy paper boxes, a micro:bit, motor board, 9V battery and a geared motor. Lots of mess but fun problem solving. @microbit_edu

Update #Halloween monster with the #microbit. Made the sjabloon with the lasercutter. Had to enlarge the holes for the #servo (forgot the cable with the measuring). Made the eyes, added Adams family theme music and some led lights.
Slowly we are getting there. Making a #halloween monster with the @elecfreaks board and a #microbit. The 8 servo's are working . Now focus on the eyes and the monster it self.
