During this morning’s press conference, Coast Guard officials said the debris field was located 20 miles south of Nantucket, where the water depth is 80 to 90 feet.
The search continues for the six people who were on the plane. They have not been publicly identified.
Nantucket Police and Harbormaster staff continue to patrol the south shore on ATVs Sunday morning looking for debris from the plane that went down south of the island.
“We will continue to monitor the southern shoreline throughout the day,” NPD Lt. Angus MacVicar said.

BREAKING: A search is underway 13 nautical miles south of Nantucket for a Gulfstream aircraft with six persons on board. The FAA reported losing contact with the aircraft early Saturday morning.
The Gulfstream G100 (tail #CGRJP) air ambulance was traveling from Bermuda to Boston.
Coast Guard Station Brant Point has its 47-foot motor life boat in the search area now, according to master chief John Lowell, along with numerous other Coast Guard assets including an MH-60 helicopter, one HC-144, one C-130, and a 154-foot cutter searching.

Nantucket Harbormaster staff and Nantucket Police are now searching the south shore of Nantucket.

"We have an ATV and a truck doing shore line searches with NPD. We have a crew underway at Madaket...Our crews will respond to inshore incidents so the Coast Guard can focus their efforts off shore," Harbormaster Sheila Lucey tells the Current.
HEART BEAT 104 (Latitude Air Ambulance) declared a emergency with NEW YORK CENTER ATC just after 0430 Zulu (12:30 AM Eastern) before they went missing.

The missing jet is a Canadian registered IAI 1125 Astra SPX tail number C-GRJP that operates as an air ambulance. The flight was from Bermuda to Boston.
