New Future Link Interview 🚀 I talked with @esherifftv — Ellie in Space. She left TV news, signed Teslas with a Sharpie at 30k subscribers, paid a contract penalty to quit, and built a beat covering Starship from the dirt in Boca Chica. 🛰️ We get into the origin story, Starbase, Mars, holding baby Orson on air, and the thing nobody ever asks her. I can’t speak. She recorded video answers. Then we cut it into a real conversation anyway. Video is in this post. Full YouTube cut in the first reply 👇

Elder Dale G. Renlund opened Saturday afternoon of general conference with a heart-transplant patient who had survived a second donor heart, then complained about cold oatmeal the day before he went home. That is the whole talk. We lose the bigger picture by staring at the immediate problem. The children of Israel did it too, overlooking blessings and promises, until the question was how long it would be before they believed God. "Jesus overcame the world; we do not have to do so ourselves. When our faith is centered on Jesus Christ, He promises spiritual peace no matter our circumstances." Our hope rests on His faithfulness, not on our own. We can trust Him. Ten minutes. I needed this one. piped.video/bPdFlOra5Mo @DaleGRenlund @Ch_JesusChrist

Elon Musk founded Tesla and is the primary person responsible for making the company what it is today. Trying to minimize his role because you don’t like him is hilariously bad revisionist history.
Musk is not an inventor or founder of Tesla just the investor who stole the credit! instagram.com/reel/DeEy5v_SS…

I resemble this?! Sister Tamara W. Runia, first counselor in the Young Women general presidency, spoke Saturday morning of general conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Church News titled the talk "The Sculpting of Our Souls." She said it is human nature to want to fix things, and to get frustrated when something comes along that we cannot fix. "The gospel isn't the umbrella. It's the solid rock we're standing on during the storm." Christ's work in your life is bigger than your present story, and He can fix what feels badly broken. She closes on a clay bust, still being carved by a hand better than ours. That image is the one I cannot stop looking at. piped.video/WoEEIwMmITY

President D. Todd Christofferson closed Saturday morning of general conference with a plea I did not expect to hit this hard. "The smartphone has transformed gambling from an occasional activity requiring a trip to a casino, racetrack or lottery kiosk into an activity available continuously, privately and almost anywhere." Sports betting, casino games, and prediction markets, in your pocket. "For us as Latter-day Saints, overarching all other concerns is the fact that gambling is morally wrong. Gambling is built on the desire to obtain something for nothing." Work leads one way. Gambling, even for fun, leads the other. His plea is not only to stop, but to use the time and the money for doing good. Twelve minutes. Worth it. piped.video/iQptlrz_OAo @ChristoffDTodd @Ch_JesusChrist

Socialism has always been based on fantasy math!
Yes, the @DemSocialists agenda is based on fantasy math, but the issue in the upcoming election is that people value balance, predictability and stability — and the last two years have been anything but. I discussed that and more today on @FoxNews:

Final TLF Video 🤠 Well, normally I last about 3 years before I get bored with a job, and I managed to make it 6 years with this channel. I probably could've kept going a bit longer but the monetary signal was telling me that either I wasn't producing useful content anymore or that peoples' interests had moved on. Algorithm changes also played a big part. THANK YOU to all the people who directly supported the channel. I never wouldn't have gone full-time or lasted this long without that support. Now, I'm moving on to work with the team at Rebellionaire. In my view, they're sitting on a gold mine of useful knowledge and information that isn't being converted fast enough into videos. It's going to be my job as managing editor to make that happen. To be clear, it isn't going to be AI slop. It's the editing part of the pipeline that I'm building with AI: Audio, trimming, thumbnails, descriptions, titles, visualizations. As well as driving the production of new and different types of content. Each team member (Brad, Matt, Henry) will still be doing scripting and topic selection in their own preferred way. That is, still human driven. I'm just improving the production line and upscaling the quality of the output. Thanks again to all the people who supported me over the years, and thanks to the great opporunity from the team at Rebellionaire! @bradsferguson @nerdalert @HenryInvests

Brad, I feel for you. I am treated as a bot multiple times a day because of my ND (OS and wiring system) that is treated like a handicap. My experiences are increasing. I can only imagine how much more difficult that is for you. I am sending you virtual hugs and well wishes - with hopes they figure out to handle the anomalies.

Biden, or his staff, ignored Elon on the work that mattered: electric cars, self-driving, and AI. Why? Because Elon did not support Biden. On August 5, 2021, Biden stood at the White House with Ford, GM, and Stellantis to announce a national electric vehicle goal. Tesla, the company selling more electric cars than any of them, was not in the room. Elon said it seemed odd that Tesla was not invited. In May 2023, Biden dropped in on a White House meeting about AI risk. The guests were Sam Altman, Dario Amodei, Satya Nadella, and Sundar Pichai. Elon was not one of them. Trump did the opposite. Dario Amodei has been on the other side of him, pushing to slow frontier AI while Trump wants America to accelerate. They had months of tension. Amodei missed the state dinner for Xi Jinping. Trump personally invited him to a private White House dinner on September 27, their first one-on-one. Two days later Amodei was at the White House lunch with the other AI leaders, including Elon. Which is the better leadership style? Inviting the person who vehemently disagrees with you. A room full of allies is not leadership. @JoeBiden @elonmusk @realDonaldTrump @DarioAmodei on the other side of him, pushing to slow frontier AI while Trump wants America to accelerate. Cathie Wood just answered the Bill Ackman tweet that has been sitting in my head, and I think she has the better side of it. Ackman asked what happens if higher rates do not slow demand this time. The demand for intelligence and energy does not care, he said, because winning the race for superintelligence has a near infinite return, and the demand for compute will stay incalculable. Interest costs get embedded in everything, inflation rises, and the Fed has to hike again. His question at the end: did the Fed just make a mistake? In this month's In the Know, Wood says rates are rising because real growth is surprising people, not because inflation is breaking loose. She takes the 10-year Treasury back to 1790. Today's yield sits near the midpoint of American history. The anomaly was the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. "All hell broke loose from a monetary point of view" after we closed the gold window. She does not think that is where we are now. The chart I cannot shake is the cost of AI. She walks through a 99.99% annual decline in the cost of AI inference, and she calls the result good deflation, the kind that makes volume explode instead of a recession. Gold peaked right as President Trump named Kevin Warsh Fed chair. Money growth near 5.7% is not showing up in inflation. About 90% of the world's data center financing is landing in the United States. piped.video/4Rir6HADnT8 @CathieDWood @ARKInvest @BillAckman
