It was only a day trip, but I was so happy when you bought me a medal. We weren’t used to going out on trips like that, and in the end, we missed our train and had to stay the night in a simple room before going home the next day. I still remember it. I wonder where that medal is now. Whenever I try to write about those memories, the tears just start to spill, and my throat grows hot.
