Been in the lab a lot lately, and I'm realizing how much of an escape songwriting is.
The next album in the Alyte universe is in progress. I'm not sure of an exact release date yet, but it'll be hitting
@AethrMusik by the end of the year, certainly.
As with everything I create - because I am incapable of doing otherwise - this one braids themes of astrophysics with psychology, fate, partnership and the continuing fictional story of Alyte, told through song.
Listen to supernova, hear Alyte detonate on her savior. Listen to roche and experience the part of the story that tears her to pieces. In ergosphere the chorus mirrors the frame-dragging physics. And singularity is naturally the point the entire album descends into in order for this part of the story to resolve.
This is also my first full album done through Logic which I'm grudgingly beginning to enjoy. I'm going bonkers on sound design, adding a more significant portion of my own piano, synth, bass and electronic drums throughout, and Alyte's voice has never sounded better.
The book, "Alyte Online" is going to be out around the end of this year, I'll have the merch store, more videos, and all kinds of new story content happening soon.
I see so many of you churning out song after song and album after album and I'm amazed at how you all manage to do it. I work slow, constantly writing and re-writing and re-writing lyrics, typically. And these are among my best, for sure, and they wouldn't be what they are without fellow brilliant creators inspiring me to improve. So thank you to all of my friends in all of the communities I ended up in because of this project - authors, filmmakers, musicians, and you crazy kids who just love to design and share with so much care and attention.
You're incredible!
Remember kids, haters hate while you create. Keep going, and keep inspiring fellow creators like me, so we can do the same.
