🎙️ Interview Aficionado | Founder @BlockWestco 🚀 Founder & Host @CryptoCoinShow 🔍 Discovering future Web3 Unicorns & llamas.

I've been going to security token conferences since 2018 (Polycon Bahamas anyone?). Everyone wanted to tokenize. Nobody could trade, because there was no one on the other side. Liquidity has been the 10 year hurdle. After sitting down with of @JohannKerbrat of @RobinhoodCrypto this week, I think it is finally breaking: Since Robinhood Chain launched July 1: • $1.6B TVL, $2.2B total asset market cap • $170M in stock tokens across 190 assets • 70%+ of stock token trading happens outside exchange hours That 70% part is the key. Trump likes to make announcements Friday after the close. With stocks liquid 24/7, you can react that night instead of sitting on your hands until Monday.

This NEAR intents exploit was so overblown. They even caught the exploited and made then return the $3M the next day 😂. Onwards and upwards $NEAR
Earlier today NEAR Intents services were stopped after a security incident was detected. The incident was caused by a bug in the Omni deposit and withdrawal infrastructure interaction with NEAR Intents smart contract. The preliminary report indicates the total loss of approximately $3.8M. These funds will be compensated in full. The contract-side vulnerability has been patched. The operations of the NEAR Intents and near(.)com are expected to resume within 1h. Deposits and withdrawals on the following networks will remain unavailable for an additional ~12 hours while fixes to the Omni infrastructure are completed: BSC, Polygon, TON, Optimism, Avalanche, Stellar, Monad, LayerX, Adi, Scroll and Plasma. In case users hold any assets from these chains inside NEAR Intents (for example, in HOT wallet or on near(.)com), they will be able to swap them into other assets once NEAR Intents is back up (in ~1h). The incident has been reported to law enforcement, and we are working with security and blockchain analytics partners to trace the funds and pursue recovery. A detailed report will be shared publicly in the following days.

Just joined @btschiller on The Privacy Podcast to talk zcash:native (and $NEAR). We got into: - Why Zcash has broken away from the rest of the privacy assets - Institutional interest showing up - Optional privacy vs Monero's privacy-by-default ($XMR) - How much is hype vs real adoption And much more. I had the chance to sit down with @JohannKerbrat of @RobinhoodCrypto to talk about Robinhood Chain and where tokenized stocks go from here. He sees memecoin activity bringing retail users and liquidity onto the chain. At the same time, Robinhood is building its stock tokens so developers can use them as a foundation for new products. Here's a teaser. The full interview is coming soon on @CryptoCoinShow. $HOOD

Nobody won electricity. We all won. Kevin T. Carter launched two China AI ETFs in a month. We asked him why the US vs China framing is wrong, what TGRZ and AICH really hold, and when DeepSeek goes public. blockwest.co/china-ai-etfs-k…

Interviewed Kevin T. Carter of @emqqglobal the morning his China AI ETF listed on Nasdaq. Few things that stuck with me: Their two ETF's - $AICH: 24 holdings across power, chips, optics, models, apps - $TGRZ: 3 holdings, Z(dot)ai ~67%, all pre-profit. He calls it one of the riskiest trades out there - TSMC, SK Hynix, Samsung expected ~$965B profit this year and next. The model layer is making ~nothing - Chinese open models have passed US models on token usage - DeepSeek IPO expected early 2027, Moonshot filing for Hong Kong Whether or not China "wins" AI, the cheap open model wave is not going away. Worth opening your eyes outside of the US to see if there are assyetrical AI bets in China. Our full discussion was eye opening for me. piped.video/iq4ulhr4ID8

Not all "permanence" on blockchain is the same. In my conversation with @arietrouw of @OfficialXYO, he explained two kinds. "Can't be lost" means your data is stored forever, which is very expensive, and he argues nothing fully guarantees it, because things can still get lost. "Can't be changed" means your data is locked so nobody can alter it after the fact, and that can take just one hash for as much data as you want. That second kind is the problem blockchains actually solve: proving something hasn't been tampered with. They've shown this use case perfectly with their new, simple crypto card game with @Gate AI. Your prediction against the AI is locked $XYO layer one onchain, and nobody can change it once the result is in. As AI produces more and more of what we see online, being able to prove something hasn't been changed will only matter more, and blockchain is the tool built for that.

Brave already has what most crypto projects spend years chasing: 120M+ users. Now comes the unlock. In this interview with @CryptoCoinShow, @lukemulks breaks down how Roadmap 4.0 brings crypto into everyday life through Brave Pay, card rewards, agentic payments and $BAT. ↓

Been a @brave user for over 10 years. This is the most ambitious roadmap I've seen the team ship. and the rest of the 120M users are ready to adopt crypto without even knowing it. 100,000+ signups on the Brave rewards wallet waitlist already. Self-custody payments have a shot at going mainstream here.

NEAR is up big today after their confidential TVL crossed $70M, which triggered the first snapshot for the NEAR@3.33 incentive program. @NEARProtocol Intents has now processed $30B+ in volume across 30+ chains, quietly becoming a huge piece of cross-chain infrastructure. Im surprised more aren't talking about it, but that's probably a good thing. Been following $NEAR for a long time. Definitely one to keep watching.

$INJ is up ~20% today, but there’s more happening here than just an altcoin cycle. @injective just hit an ATH of 58%+ INJ staked. At the same time: • $1B+ in mortgage records have moved onchain through Pineapple Financial, with $10B+ planned • 7M+ INJ has already been burned • 100% of supply is circulating, so no future token unlocks • Injective continues pushing deeper into institutional RWAs and tokenized finance Liquid supply of INJ keeps getting tighter. One of the stronger fundamental setups of L1s right now.

peaq-2:native is ripping today, up as much as 22%. @peaq sits at the perfect intersection of crypto, AI, and robotics. Robots and machines need identities, wallets, and the ability to transact and earn autonomously. This narrative is going to become much clearer this cycle. I’ve been following peaq since 2021, and the pieces are finally falling into place.

Nearly $320M in BTC moved without a private key compromise. Custody is only one layer of crypto infrastructure risk. If the software defining what counts as a valid asset breaks, the consequences can be just as severe. Important case study for bridges, sidechains and tokenized assets.
Nearly 4,000 bitcoin:native worth roughly $320M left Liquid Network’s federation wallet after a software bug allowed unbacked L-BTC to be created and redeemed for real Bitcoin. No private keys were compromised. Liquid is now halted, while the self-described white hats behind the withdrawal have agreed to return most of the BTC once the bug is fully patched.
