The hatred here is so relatable. Have you ever gone outside? Confronted by large swaths of “people”? Just go to “the mall”. The sights are more grotesque than a scene from Salò. You’ll be visually tortured endlessly.

In the case of the former its a type of social class gatekeeping, those girls have affluent backgrounds with rich immigrant parents and the only way to signal they're "different" from the other american rich girls is to roleplay as an ethnic with trad values

Many with the "secular lite" background, as you put it, tend to hold more conservative values than some hijabis who are, unfortunately, liberal. This isn't one of those "don't judge maybe she doesn't wear hijab, but she does x, y, z" posts. I'm just speaking from experience.

In the case of the latter, they're hijabis from working or middle class backgrounds with super strict parents, so besides the desire to "rebel" they also grow up in close proximity to hordes of racial and sexual minorities, prompting them to develop misguided moral sympathies

In simple form this can be summarized as "Americanized Muslims can only hold onto the traditions they can use to flex on others in their economic class, nothing more and nothing less"

None of this can be taken seriously no matter how right Daniel is, because he’s built a reputation of being such an insufferable prick that everyone watching this can only think “if Omar Suleiman appeared on this podcast instead of him, he’d be chewing him out for it”
Daniel Haqiqatjou reveals some policies to undo feminism and bring back patriarchy. 1) Cut all social welfare to women 2) Give affirmative action for men 3) Seize female wealth and redistribute it to men

Many of us are quite familiar with this type of striver background American Muslim woman, who likely grew up with zero sexual interaction and has an incel’s level understanding of the sexual dynamics of college campus Americans — which makes it all the more hilarious that she’s the one that led a crusade to reopen an open and shut nothing burger case about some lady’s sexual indiscretions gone wrong. Why did she give a shit about this? It’s absurd.

Many don’t know that the average Muslim woman in the west, even those who grew up with a Secular Lite background (no hijab, sleepovers), are extremely disgusted by women such as Jane Doe, and would be horrified to be associated with her in any way as a matter of class and status.

The Pew query doesn't hold. Asking someone about marriage in Nigeria or Indonesia has a completely different meaning than France or the UK. Like it's not apples to apples, marriage might still be a mutually beneficial contract in those countries. While it's not on the bottom.

Sex isn't bad. Anyone who says otherwise is a Third Worldist.

True, much of “Islamic finance” is nonsense. But “unlikely to be true that interest constitutes riba” is just obviously false. Hundreds of quotes can be brought, but Imam Malik in the Muwatta describes what is typical of any modern loan as “without doubt the essence of riba”
There is no such thing as Islamic finance, most “Islamic finance” products are either (not)clever workarounds or just fee extraction (ie not finance in function), always blowing up in the end, and, frankly, it’s just unlikely to be true that interest constitutes riba (ie usury), such that all of this effort is required in the first place. Islamic finance is a category error sustained by identity anxiety with some anticolonial resistance flavouring (defeat the fiat New World Order and big banks!)
