The @USArmy Cheyenne II helicopter, which is currently manufactured at Bell Textron in Wichita, is advancing American defense modernization and bolstering military preparedness. @RepRonnyJackson and I led more than 80 of our colleagues in urging the administration to maintain support for the Cheyenne program and its critical importance to the advanced defensive capabilities of our military.

On September 23, Bell hosted the Washington Association of Military Attaches at the Textron Experience Center in Arlington, Virginia to learn more about Bell’s Future Vertical Lift, to include the MV-75 Cheyenne, and @TXTSystems’ air, land, and sea vehicles and munitions.
The attaches represented over 20 countries and were able to gain a better understanding of Bell and Textron Systems’ approach to supporting the warfighter with the latest and most advanced technology.

Bell hosted a delegation from the country of Nigeria to mark the start of production of AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters built as part of the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. Delegates toured Bell's Amarillo production facility and ceremoniously signed the first production aircraft's frame destined to join the @NigAirForce.
“We are pleased with the Viper’s advanced capabilities and interoperability and look forward to its induction as a key platform in our attack helicopter fleet," said Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, NAF spokesperson.
