Good morning, sweet friends. ☕️ I found some old church notes, and one line stopped me: “What you care about is what you chase.” “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:21 NKJV We can make counterfeit gods out of things that aren't bad things at all—comfort, acceptance, control, even the people we love. That last one was hard for me. There was a time when I had to realize I was putting my daughter before God. As a mom, that was hard to admit. I love her more than words can say. But God has to come first. Putting God first doesn't mean I love my daughter less. It means I trust Him with the person I love most. Sometimes obedience means leaving what is familiar. Sometimes it means being uncomfortable. Sometimes it means surrendering the control we desperately want to keep. What we treasure shapes our hearts. What we care about, we chase. So today I'm asking myself: What am I chasing? God first. Then everything else finds its proper place. Jesus is King. 👑
