Digger is a strange movie. For the first half, I kept wondering where the hell it was going. It throws a lot at you without giving you much help, and there were several times I thought it had completely lost me. Somewhere along the way, though, everything starts clicking. Things that seemed pointless earlier suddenly have a reason for being there, the story gets a whole lot bigger, and I went from questioning the movie to wanting to see where it was taking me. It’s weird, frustrating, funny, and completely different from what I expected. I can see people walking out of this one. I can also see people talking about it all the way home. Digger definitely won’t be for everybody, but I’m still thinking about it.
