Clarification regarding closure of Call for Proposal under Research Development & Innovation (RDI) Scheme by Technology Development Board (TDB) Certain media report published yesterday (30th Sept.) claiming shortage of fund as the reason for closure of #RDI call by #TDB is not correct. @tdbgoi has closed its running call purely due to “Administrative Reason” as notified on its website. Due to massive influx of project proposals, TDB has decided to take a “PAUSE”& closed its call for the time being which will reopen shortly after assessment of all projects received till 30th Sept. 2026. The Investment Committee (IC) & TDB are working overnight to complete the evaluation process expeditiously. There is absolutely no shortage of fund for disbursement to ETEs. The @IndiaDST / @ANRFIndia is in the process of assigning several other SLFM also in the very near future. @DrJitendraSingh @PrinSciAdvGoI @waghmare16 @DBTIndia @CSIR_IND @moesgoi

At the CSIR SciArt Gallery during CSIR’s 85th Foundation Day celebrations, Dr. Suresh Kalangi of CSIR-CDRI captures the many emotions behind scientific discovery — curiosity, excitement, failure, frustration and the joy of finding something new. Through his artwork, “Holi Colours of the Lab”, he offers a glimpse into the very human journey behind research. #ScienceAndArt #CSIRFoundationDay @CSIR_CDRI #SciComm
