<My Intern Assignment: Exploring TheCardWall, The Alley, and Collector Crypt>
Before doing this Intern assignment, I had already heard people talking about this card project.
I often join Mike’s Happy Hour, and over the past few days I kept hearing people talk about card pulls, rare cards, and what they had managed to get. What stood out to me most was how excited everyone became when talking about cards — almost like kids again.
@ClutchMarkets @OxSimpleFarmer
That made me curious:
Why are trading cards still so attractive to adults?
So I started asking Mike more questions. He didn’t just introduce TheCardWall and The Alley,he explained the whole ecosystem, the user flow, and the logic behind it very clearly, including Collector Crypt, physical card custody, onchain ownership, and how collectors can eventually hold, trade, transfer, or redeem their cards.
This Intern assignment also gave me the chance to experience
@TheCardWall, especially its onchain CLAW experience : The Alley.
This has become one of my favorite assignments so far because it combines the excitement of card pulling, the collectible value of real graded cards, and blockchain ownership.
The Alley gives collectors the chance to pull real, professionally graded trading cards across multiple categories, including sports cards, Pokémon, One Piece, Riftbound, Dragon Ball, and more.
The fun part is that you never know what the next card will be. It could be a favorite character, a rare chase card, or even something with significant value.
After trying it myself, I started to understand why people get so excited about cards.
It is not just about “buying a card.” There is a mix of uncertainty, anticipation, surprise, and ownership. Even as an adult, it can bring back that childlike excitement.
More importantly, The Alley is backed by real-world collectibles.
It is supported by
@Collector_Crypt, which connects physical collectibles with onchain ownership. It provides access to real graded-card inventory, insured custody, and the infrastructure that allows collectors to hold, trade, transfer, and eventually redeem physical cards.
That helped me realize this is more than just a “card pulling game.” It is an attempt to connect real-world collectibles with onchain assets in a practical way.
The CardWall experience is also very easy to understand. Card details, probabilities, and ownership information are clearly displayed. And if a card is not a good fit for your collection, the 72-hour Sell Back option gives collectors extra flexibility.
I was also very lucky during this experience.
I won a $50 reward from
@mikecampbelltv MIKE’s space via
@point_onefive giveaway, which gave me the chance to actually try the CLAW machine myself.
Going from simply hearing other people talk about it to actually pulling cards and waiting to see the result was a really fun experience. It helped me understand much better why this format can be so engaging.
In just 6 days,
@TheCardWall handled $1M in trading cards. These are crazy numbers. This is crazy liquidity.
A big thank you to my boss
@CTuska for giving me this Intern assignment.
Also, many thanks to Mike for sharing so much information during Happy Hour and for patiently explaining the ecosystem and every step of the process so clearly.
This assignment didn’t just help me understand TheCardWall, The Alley, and Collector Crypt.
It also helped me understand something much more interesting:
Why trading cards can still make adults feel like kids again.
Maybe that is part of the real magic of collecting —
the anticipation, the surprise, and the joy of owning something that truly feels like yours.

《我的 Intern 作业:探索 TheCardWall、The Alley 和 Collector Crypt》
@Collector_Crypt 提供基础设施支持。
