Under the President’s first term inflation was under 2 per cent a year and ended at 1.2 per cent in 2020. Then during the Biden years inflation soared to 8 per cent in 2022. A total of 21.4 per cent of price increases. Then in the second term inflation has averaged about 2.7 or total increases so far even with the tariffs and Iran conflict at 5.4 per cent. So inflation has come down from 8 per cent to around 3 per cent. Gas was most expensive in 2022 at 3.95 a gallon, more expensive than today. Those are the facts plain and simple.

I'm writing this as a strategist who worked on 2 Presidential campaigns. Every intelligent person knows there is going to be polling error in 2026. The polling industry is broken. However, 2026 contains a NEW DYNAMIC that pollsters of every stripe can't account for. Specifically, the Democrats lack of money combined with their dearth of tangible policies. Many are tracking the Dems getting drowned in TV ad spending. They are not factoring in the fact that Democrat GOTV efforts are driven by money. The Dems use money to pay unions, NGO affiliates, and volunteers to secure voters. They don't have it this year but still need to grab massive numbers of traditionally low propensity mid-term voters like students.

Agreed. They are the exact opposite of what they were in the days of Kennedy when they had so much citizen support. Didn't need illegal aliens to get the vote.
