They were surprised to learn that there was no life saving equipment in the… EXECUTION ROOM
There was no medical oxygen or mask in the execution chamber where Tennessee tried and failed to kill convicted murderer Christa Pike, which meant staff had to go and get it when things went wrong, according to a source who witnessed what happened. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/-me…

Colorado took a timeout because there were only 8 players out for FG block They then came out after the timeout with only 9 players

United Airlines just posted a viral clip of a passenger streaming five college football games on Starlink Wi-Fi. Here's what you need to know. United posted "We told you our Starlink Wi-Fi is a game-changer," quoting a FOX College Football clip. The clip is captioned "CFB Saturday at 30,000 feet is DIFFERENT." It came from flyer Chase Snyder (@ChasingSnyder), who got an entire exit row to himself and built a "quintuplet box," meaning five games on screen at once. The United post had 122.5K views by this evening, Oct 4, 2026. The clip is now a talking point in the Delta Starlink fight from earlier this week. Fans of United and Starlink say you can't watch multiple games on Delta. Some Delta flyers disagree. One said they watched a hockey game on Delta just fine. Others say Delta's Wi-Fi is unreliable and keep asking Delta to add Starlink. Southwest was also asked to partner with Starlink. United also answered a customer who asked for Starlink on the whole fleet, especially long flights like SFO to Boston. Another flyer said they rarely get a Starlink flight. United's reply covers the timeline. Key numbers: - 880+ United aircraft with Starlink by the end of 2026 - Entire United fleet expected to have Starlink by the end of 2027 - 450+ Starlink aircraft reported with Q2 2026 results - Up to 250 Mbps on regional jets, about 50 times faster than before - Starlink Wi-Fi on United is free - SpaceX said in its Q2 earnings it has captured only about 10% of the airline Wi-Fi market So United is now using a fan's five-game setup as its Starlink ad, while the rollout is still growing.

44 years ago today, Pat Summerall and John Madden called a Division-III college football game. Wittenberg vs. Baldwin-Wallace October 3, 1982 During the fall of '82, in the second week of the NFLPA's 57-day players' strike, CBS needed to get creative with its Sunday afternoon programming. So on October 3, the network sent its top NFL broadcast team of Pat Summerall and John Madden to Springfield, Ohio to call Division-III Wittenberg's game against its rival Baldwin-Wallace — each school with an enrollment then of about 2,000 students. Three other NFL on CBS broadcast teams were also assigned to call Division-III games that weekend. Wittenberg, Baldwin-Wallace, and the Ohio Athletic Conference were each paid $10,000 for the game. The video includes the CBS open and pregame introduction by Pat and John, the first several minutes of the game, and select highlights from this historic CBS broadcast. A very rare and fascinating telecast — and quite a thrill for those players, coaches, students, and communities.
