Welcome to ClickHouse, @andy_pavlo 👋
We're launching ClickHouse Labs, a new research group advancing foundational database technology, led by Andy as VP of Database Research.
Andy is an award-winning database researcher, professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Computer Science Department and longtime leader of the CMU Database Research Group. At ClickHouse Labs, he'll build a team to take on the hardest problems in database systems, testing their work on real workloads and publishing it in the open, across both ClickHouse and PostgreSQL.

ClickHouse 26.6 is now available in ClickHouse Cloud.
In this quick overview, @markhneedham walks through five features you can try, from cascading refreshable materialized views to query optimizations and simpler URL queries.

A Postgres base backup reads the whole data directory off the same NVMe drives that are serving your queries. With buffered reads, Linux copies every byte into the page cache and evicts data Postgres was about to use.
How ClickHouse Managed Postgres uses Direct I/O, with reads sized to the RAID0 stripe, to keep backups out of the database's way: buff.ly/YQPgbbW
Observability benchmarks need continuous ingestion and realistic user queries.

ClickCannon controls throughput and concurrency while replaying production-shaped ClickHouse workloads.
Our @ClickHouseDB team is at Postgres Summit 2026 in New York City! Go say hi 👋
If you love talking Postgres and/or ClickHouse, you’ll be in good company with this passionate group.
And yes, there’s some very cool, exclusive swag waiting for you! 🐘 🐘 🤗

Two years ago, @LinkedIn’s observability team began their @ClickHouseDB journey with distributed tracing.
Now they’ve extended it to metric discovery and analytics, consolidating 13B+ metrics onto a single index serving 150k+ queries/min.

The latest pg_clickhouse and chdb extension releases, out today, greatly expand Postgres/ClickHouse data type mapping, including intervals and composite types, and provide tools to handle character encoding issues.

I spend a lot of time talking about ClickHouse Managed Postgres. But our customers running their businesses on it tell the story much better than I can. 🙏 ❤️
Here are 10 production customers, what they’re building, and why they chose our Managed Postgres. 🧵
The list includes fast-growing AI companies to large enterprises, migrating hundreds of GB to multi-TB databases from Aurora, RDS, Neon and more.

ClickHouse Cloud now supports SCIM 2.0. Assign someone to ClickHouse in your identity provider, and their account is created automatically. Remove them or change their group, and ClickHouse updates their access to match.

Postgres is C. Useful extension code is often C++. Mixing their memory and error handling can skip destructors or crash a backend.

The ClickHouse workload for Microsoft Fabric is now in public preview.
Query OneLake table snapshots from inside Fabric on dedicated ClickHouse Cloud compute, without consuming your Fabric capacity.
OneLake stays the source of truth.

ClickHouse reads from Microsoft OneLake. Now it writes back, too.
Publish query results as Apache Iceberg tables, registered in OneLake and ready for Power BI, Fabric Spark, and other compatible tools.

Postgres has no per-query memory limit, and some queries ignore work_mem entirely. We benchmarked what happens on four managed Postgres providers when one of those queries runs away.

Let’s Encrypt uses ClickHouse. That’s a sentence we're pretty happy to write.
Their write-up covers certificate issuance data, messy log backfills, and public stats that now compute in under 10 seconds instead of hours.

chDB gives agents local, queryable memory. Now that memory can move with them. 🧠
The new Durable Layer keeps recall in process and makes the database recoverable from object storage.
