Building robust, scalable systems with Python/FastAPI. GitHub: github.com/CodeEmmanuel-beep…

Your API response is not just data. It's a contract. Names matter. Types matter. Pagination semantics matter. Error semantics matter. Optional fields matter. The frontend shouldn't have to reverse-engineer your backend.

Now it’s grown to 14k+ lines, 120+ endpoints, and evolved into a distributed system with background workers, Redis, PostgreSQL, real-time communication, and Nginx serving the application. Honestly, I didn’t know it would evolve this far when I started. the progression is crazy.
My project has crossed 2900 lines. Want to start automating my API! #API #automation

The more I build backend systems, the less impressed I am by code that looks complicated. I care more about: Can I explain it? Can I test it? Can I predict its failure modes? Can another engineer safely modify it? Complexity isn't sophistication. #systemdesign #backend

If you're building a backend and you're never asking: “What happens if this operation partially fails?” you're probably designing only for the happy path. Production doesn't care about your happy path.

If your inventory can go negative during concurrent purchases, you don't have an inventory system. You have a race condition with a nice UI #backendengineering #concurrency

How can I use X to reach the right people in tech? Meet like minds who are truly interested in backend engineering and want to grow! Please I need tips

Manual testing my backend system is really taking time yikes Could take over a month. Over 100 well engineered endpoints. It's stressful but manual testing is very important to detect workflow gaps

Building distributed systems teaches humility. Everything works perfectly until: * the network fails * the worker crashes * the retry happens * the event arrives twice The real challenge isn't making software work. It's making it work when everything goes wrong.

The biggest lie in software engineering is that architecture is finished before implementation Real architecture happens when manual testing exposes the states, race conditions, and failure paths you never thought about Every serious system is eventually redesigned by reality

My new backend app AtomicCommerce is going to be 🔥🔥🔥. Can't wait, already tested 42 out of 110+ endpoints, will deploy in about a month time! Watch this space #backend #fastapi #python

FastAPI + Redis taught me something today: Async systems don’t fail loudly — they fail silently. If you don’t verify cache hits, serialization, and invalidation, you’re probably lying to yourself. #fastapi #caching #redis

When I started the e commerce API I am building, I thought it will be in and out 😂. 10 endpoints letter I haven't gotten to payment yet 😂😆

The best way to learn backend is to build many APIs the more APIs you build the more you encounter you problems, the more you sove those problems, the higher your tech stack increases. #backend #api #SoftwareEngineering

There have been some minor setbacks in my journey in deploying my API, the API is ready I just want it to be a solid foundation for future versions so I am taking time testing it. Hopefully will be deployed under 7 days. #api #backend

Decided to get a new haircut

After weeks of intense building, I’m finally in the final stretch of a project I’m deeply proud of. I’ve built an API with 70+ endpoints, covering authentication, automation, data processing, validations, and a lot of real-world use cases. In about 7 days, I’ll be deploying
