Hey everyone,
I wrote this song after seeing and hearing what is happening in France—the unrest, the violence, the destruction, the antisemitism, and the voices of extremism growing louder in a country I have always loved.
I couldn’t simply stand aside and watch.
I love France. I love the French people. I have many French friends, and I work in a French restaurant. France has given the world so much—art, culture, ideas, courage, and those extraordinary words: Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité.
This song is not against Muslims, Palestinians, or any people. It is against radicalism, fanaticism, antisemitism, violence, and every ideology that tries to destroy freedom from within.
So this song is for all my French heroes out there.
Rise up. Protect your freedom. Protect your beautiful country. Remember who you are—before it is too late.
LÈVE-TOI, FRANCE
