ALT I celebrate my Mexican American heritage through my family, traditions, and community. Growing up in a small border town in Texas has allowed me to stay closely connected to my Mexican culture. I enjoy traditional foods and family traditions that remind me of where I come from. My heritage also inspires me to give back by coaching young Mexican American softball players in my community. I hope to be a positive role model who encourages them to work hard, believe in themselves, and feel proud of their culture. Being Mexican American means honoring my roots while using my experiences to support the next generation.
