The cascading conversations from UFO disclosure are going to be so funny. "Oh, you had alien tech in the 1940's? What the fuck was Vietnam then? Iraq?"

>LLMs are bad because they hallucinate and don't follow prompts Have you met my 4 year old?

Two block walk in Midtown Atlanta: Three different aggressively loud crackheads yelling at random people, flailing their arms and stuff. One Atlanta PD issuing a traffic citation to some young professional woman in a Toyota, completely oblivious to his surroundings. What are we even doing here people?

Prediction: AI will eliminate jobs! Twist: AI has government/corpo work queues deeper than ever
I’m slowly cleaning up the suburbs with Muse. Saw this mess of wires on a pole. Took a picture and asked Muse to contact Verizon to get them cleaned up. It went to their website and got to work. There is a 0% chance I would’ve sat in a Verizon support chat over this. I would’ve just been mildly annoyed every time I walked past it for the next five years. “Someone should do something about that” is now a prompt. 🤝 @alexandr_wang

This morning my 4 year old got up before everyone else and: ✅ - Got an applesauce from the fridge ✅ - Got a spoon and paper towel ✅ - Sat at the bar and (mostly) cleaned up the small mess she made ✅ - Threw away the cup, paper towel ✅ - Washed her hands and wiped her face ❌ - Put the crusty apple sauce spoon back exactly where she got it, with all the clean ones 😂 As a parent: progress is progress!

Nothing like waking up on a Sunday morning to slack pings from an outage! Thankfully our architecture is rather robust. Backup systems handled the critical/revenue-impacting loads flawlessly. The offending bug traced back to a lock/semaphore issue in a redis utility that has been live in prod since Feb 2022. No issues until now. Last night an extremely unlucky customer somehow triggered this bug and it cascaded into worker saturation on lower priority queues. Shoutout to Opus 5.5 for helping me pop the offending lock and backfill 100k events/second to catch up!

Built and scaled an internal prototype I'm super proud of. We're already in 1700 dealerships and we're about to disrupt a huge market that charges $100k/dealer a year for $300/mo

We NEED a full size Tesla SUV 🔥 let’s make it happen
Tesla could bankrupt every other automaker and become the largest company in the world if they simply build a full size SUV with full self driving and starlink. Make a large vehicle and people will buy it!!!

- You: "My stocks went up 10%." - Government: "Congratulations! That's taxable." - You: "But inflation was 8%. I only really gained 2%." - Government: "We tax the full 10%." - You: "You tax the inflation you created?" - Government: "Capital gains are capital gains." - You: "So you profit from debasing my money twice?" - Government: "You're not an economist."

It's so weird watching old (2018?) movies where the enemy military is Russia, and said military is competent. The Ukraine war has been such an immense aura loss for anything rus-mil
