Britannic Elegance, Velocity & Velvet
The Belmond Britannic Explorer, England and Wales’s first luxury sleeper train, offers a five-star journey designed by Albion Nord, with farm-to-fork menus by Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan.
Owned by Belmond, a luxury hotel and travel company, which LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the world’s largest French luxury goods conglomerate, acquired in April 2019 for $3.2 billion.
Fun fact: Its elegant blue carriages were originally built as intercity carriages in Ireland in the 1980s.
