For me, @FluidVoiceApp on MacBook is an essential tool that speeds up content creation. I can't imagine how I could work without it now. Instead of writing, which is slow, I simply dictate most of the texts. I'm not doing anything secret, but I'm glad that FluidVoice works with local transcription models, meaning that what I dictate doesn't leave my computer. The so-called editing mode is genius. I highlight the text and say, for example, "change the tone to more formal," and after a moment, I have a new version. I open the received email and say what I would like to include in the response, and FluidVoice displays it shortly after. Need to transcribe an audio file? I load the file, and after a moment, I have the transcription, complete with diarization. This one tool replaces several others. Finally, the beta version of the app for iOS has arrived through TestFlight. Again, the advantage is that the transcription, along with text smoothing, is performed on my iPhone. Although it's beta, I don't have significant issues with it. I'm mainly testing it on short texts in messaging apps. The only thing that bothers me right now is the lack of Polish characters on the FluidVoice keyboard, which sometimes complicates text editing (I have to switch to another keyboard). And there is no longer my favorite editing mode :-) Did I mention that it’s completely free? Here you can find the version for MacOS and the beta for Windows: altic.dev/fluid. As for the link to the beta version for iOS, the author @FluidVoiceApp has been sending links to those interested for the past few days.

i've been beta testing the testflight version of @FluidVoiceApp iOS STT app. feel confident enough to say that the iPhone speech-to-text problem has been solved. these guys have done 2 things TOGETHER... 1. build the best product in the category. low latency, great haptic feedback, custom dictionary, swipe keyboard. 2. everything runs locally.. by that i mean , it's not just the base model.. but also the polishing layer.. like wtf.. many of us took it for granted that this required sending our voice over to the cloud.. turns out it wasn't ☺️ note 1 : it's not easy to build a good STT UX on iOS and that's cause apple doesn't want one to exist. you still gotta toggle to the STT app then return to your earlier surface etc.. or you have to give up the action button to start a transcription. note 2 : i have been using their macOS app for a few months now.. it replaced wisprflow and superwhisper for me. and yeah.. the iOS app these guys have built feels even better than their macOS app..

Yo, if you use voice dictation on your iPhone, try @FluidVoiceApp. This shit is pretty gas like I've only tried it for a few now, but miles better than whatever iOS has right now

I replaced Wispr Flow with Fluid Voice on my Mac and never looked back. This looks like something I would jump to try out on my iPhone.
Introducing Wispr-flow like AI Dictation, BUT using local AI Send messages, Speak ideas into your iPhone, convert your speech to text instantly All done locally, so no cloud involved, giving you unlimited words :) I'm a solo developer trying hard to change the landscape of AI dictation :) 1st round of TestFlight was a SHOUTING success!! Round 2 is open for everyone who missed it Comment below for access↓

Dictated straight from the Fluid Voice iOS. I've been using Fluid Voice Mac for over a year now and am obsessed. I've been waiting patiently for the iOS release and I've tried so many alternatives and just gave up on all of them and this one is in beta only and i'm hooked!!!

I'm going to be real with y'all for a minute, iOS dictation apps only make sense if they're not annoying to use. Clunky. Typos. Slow. Bad keyboard. I'm a solo developer trying hard to make iOS dictation actually fun to use. Since my Mac dictation app got a lot of love on X, I'm sending out a testflight for iOS. Local. Private. Fast. I’ve been using Fluid Voice for the day, and I can confidently say it’s probably the best dictation I’ve used on iOS. Is it perfect? No. But it’s still the best I’ve tried so far. Really impressive! 👏 @FluidVoiceApp

I’ve been fortunate to have access to FluidVoice for the last few days and it’s been superb! Incredibly user friendly and hasn’t yet made a dictation error despite my regional accent!

I've tried just about all the AI dictation apps on iOS. This by far is the best one that I've used, and the best part is everything happens instantaneously and local! A feature that I never knew I needed is shaking the phone to start and stop dictation!

I've tried like a dozen iOS dictation apps and Mac apps, and I'm shocked by how good @FluidVoiceApp is. I'll admit that I had a bit of hesitancy about local models, but I was completely wrong. Another great thing about the iOS app is you don't need to always swipe back and forth between the app and the app you're trying to write in. I don't know what they're doing to make that work, but it works. And it's freakin' free.

Alright, @FluidVoiceApp on iOS blows WisprFlow out of the water. It’s SO much faster and smoother. Apple should just acquire that tech and flush their voice to text down the toilet.

Okay I love these tools, but they all need to give up on trying to build voice dictation into their apps and just embed @FluidVoiceApp instead. - @TownAI your dictation is solid, but it's so so slow and it can only be toggled from the app - @NousResearch your engine isn't particularly strong and the 2 minute cap on audio really harshes my flow - @Muse you probably have the best dictation layer of these, but it's still not a good as Fluid Voice, is capped at 2 minutes, and doesn't format well - @ChatGPT yours is pretty good because you built whisper, but @FluidVoiceApp is using more powerful audio models like NVIDIA's Nemotron 3 Diarization (yes, nvidia cooks on model names) that you can't compete with so just embrace it I just use Fluid Voice throughout, so I don't care personally, but having better software is a benefit to all. I am literally not incentivized in any way to do this because Fluid Voice is 100% free - I just do it for the love of the software. Only used it for ~4 days on a new laptop (about a month on an old one) and it's saved me 2.5hrs already. Just insane stats

Thanks @benspringwater Local AI >>> Cloud. This is just the beginning of something big!
I am massively impressed by @FluidVoiceApp dictation. It feels like the same level of accuracy as WisprFlow but noticeably lower latency. (And it's free, though I was more than happy to pay for good dictation.) It really doesn't make sense that speech to text should require a round trip to the cloud. WisprFlow's latency was just enough to be mildly annoying and I am pumped that is now solved.
