Through June 30, Brown’s campaign reported about $38.6 million in receipts and $16.2 million on hand.
Husted’s campaign reported about $14.4 million in receipts and $9.4 million on hand. That is their own campaign money.
Senate Majority PAC announced a $40 million Ohio TV reservation for Brown on May 5, then another $24 million on July 23. The PAC called that a continued $60 million television investment. That announcement is not part of the $38.6 million.
Separate from that, Track Islamists reports $43,096,944 in dark money, through Senate Majority PAC, CFFE PAC, and Planned Parenthood Votes, and attributes the network to Arabella-linked funding. That figure is their report. It is not the same thing as the PAC’s $60 million television announcement, and it is not part of the $38.6 million.
The Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio endorsed Jon Husted for Senate on July 21. The same day it endorsed Vivek Ramaswamy and Rob McColley for governor and lieutenant governor.
Amy Acton is the former state health director, running for governor.
CAIR Action’s Ohio guide lists her as Preferred. That is not an endorsement.
In August 2019, Bexley police responded to Acton’s home after a reported domestic dispute. According to reporting based on the police report, she told officers she had been drinking alcohol and had taken an unknown amount of prescription medication. The report described a verbal dispute. A mirror was pulled from a wall and shattered. She wanted to leave in her vehicle before her husband persuaded her not to.
