Exposing the most egregious abusers of our country’s employment system.

Since 2022, the same companies cutting Americans were importing visa workers. The receipts, one by one. Microsoft: 3,426 cut, 3,259 H-1Bs brought in. Nearly one out, one in. Google: 951 Americans cut in 2024, 1,058 H-1Bs hired the same year. More gone than seats open. Intel: nearly 3,000 cut, 851 approved, after taking $7.86 billion in taxpayer subsidies. Amazon: laid off in wave after wave and stayed the single largest H-1B sponsor in the country the entire time. Meta: cut tens of thousands, already paid $14 million to settle DOJ findings it favored visa workers, kept filing anyway. Apple: paid $25 million for rigging hiring against Americans, still one of the top 15 visa users. IBM: 3,900 laid off after bringing in 1,200-plus H-1Bs, and separately caught favoring visa holders in its own job ads. Seven of the most valuable companies on earth. Same years. Same playbook. They didn't run out of Americans. They ran the math.

I will believe it when I see it
Our message to corporate America is simple: We’re not going to let you lay off American workers so you can replace them with cheap foreign labor. whitehouse.gov/fact-sheets/2…

Apple paid $25 million. Meta paid $14 million. OpenAI just paid $3.2 million. All three settled the same DOJ finding: they rigged hiring so Americans couldn't apply, then handed the jobs to visa workers. Three of the most valuable companies on earth, same scheme, same government charge. When the fine is a rounding error, the fine is just a cost of doing business.

OpenAI just got caught doing it. Apple already paid for it. Same exact scheme: bury the job so no American sees it, require mailed paper applications, then sponsor a visa worker for the role instead. Apple’s tab was $25 million, a record under the anti-discrimination law. This isn’t a rogue recruiter. It’s a template, and the biggest names in tech keep running it.

OpenAI wants to automate away millions of American jobs and calls it progress. Today the DOJ made it pay $3.2 million for a lower-tech crime: rigging its hiring so US workers couldn’t even apply. How does the most advanced AI company on earth hide its own job openings? It skipped its careers page, demanded applications be mailed in on paper, and ran the listings on late-night radio. In 2026. Every choice engineered so no qualified American would see the opening, clearing the path to hand the job to a visa worker instead. A company that can’t find Americans for the jobs it’s actively hiding from them, using a 1950s trick to do it.

Meet Abdul Hadi Murshid and Muhammad Salman Nasir. A federal indictment says the two Pakistani nationals ran a seven-year visa fraud racket out of a Dallas law firm, the Law Offices of D. Robert Jones, and a shell called Reliable Ventures. Here’s how the operation allegedly worked, and it’s the whole scam in one loop. Visa seekers paid them. They wired part of the money back as “payroll.” On paper: a thriving Texas company paying real salaries for real jobs. In reality: the worker funding his own fake paycheck to buy a green card, through a Dallas law firm fronted by two men who aren’t licensed lawyers. The Justice Department calls it a multi-year racket run for personal profit. They’ve been charged under RICO, the same statute built for the mob. Sickening abuse of the system.

The Labor Department just barred four employers from the H-1B program entirely. No fine you can expense. No settlement you walk away from. They’re locked out of filing new petitions for two full years. This is what enforcement looks like when it finally has teeth. The question is whether it reaches past four small firms to the giants running the same playbook.

They keep you arguing about the culture war because the labor war is already being won without you. Top 30 H-1B employers: 34,000 imports, 85,000 layoffs, in a single year. The people who write the visa laws own the stock in the companies exploiting them. That’s the story nobody’s trending.

India received $138 billion in remittances last year, making it the largest recipient in the world. A company swaps a $150K American for a $95K visa worker, bills the client the same, and pockets the spread. One firm allegedly skimmed $95 million a year doing it. The paycheck that used to circulate six times through an American town now leaves on the first pass.

Every mainstream media outrage cycle burns your attention on something you can’t change. While the country screams at itself about war in Iran / Ukraine and abortion, Congress quietly does nothing about the visa pipeline its own members are invested in. Meta paid a $14M fine and kept going. Infosys got full immunity. Intel took $7.9B in subsidies and cut American jobs anyway. The fights that fill your feed aren’t the ones costing you your paycheck. Pay attention!

Texas investigators found H-1B sponsors operating out of a single-family house, listing an empty unfinished building as the worksite, with websites advertising products that don’t exist. These shell companies sponsored numerous skilled-worker visas anyway. Nobody at USCIS drove by. Nobody picked up a phone. The approvals just went through.

Oh wow, a new H-1B fraud investigation. I think I have heard this story before. The government once had Infosys dead to rights. Grand jury. Criminal targets. “Systemic visa fraud” in the DOJ’s own complaint. Then Infosys wrote a check for $34 million, six cents per share, and walked with full immunity, no debarment, and its visa pipeline intact. Thirteen years later it’s the second largest H-1B employer and under DOJ investigation again. Fines aren’t punishment. Hopefully this time it’s different, but I doubt it.

More lies
Lots of bad information out there --let's clear it up. • Recent workforce changes were made to restructure the XBOX business because it is not healthy. They were not made to replace employees with foreign workers. • The H-1B figures being referenced are Microsoft-wide visa renewals and new hire applications. They are not specific to XBOX and represent a small percentage of Microsoft's overall workforce. And the majority of roles impacted were not American roles. • XBOX is the largest employer of American workers in the gaming industry and the largest American gaming company. • And Asha is an American born, raised, and educated CEO, from Wisconsin.
