That question still haunts the conscience of the world when it comes to the Canada's Indigenous children who were taken from their families, stripped of their names, languages, cultures, and identities, and subjected to a system of forced assimilation. Many suffered abuse and neglect, and many died far from home and buried in unmarked graves. September 30 was Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - apparently to honour residential school survivors and their families, and to remember the innocent Indigenous children who never came home. But reconciliation cannot be reduced to a commemorative day or political rhetoric. When serious questions remain unanswered and the history of residential schools is contested or obscured, reconciliation remains incomplete. The suffering of Indigenous children is not a culture war. It is a matter of historical truth and accountability. Questions surrounding unmarked graves deserve evidence, transparency, and an honest examination of the historical record - not denial, distortion, or silence. No reconciliation without truth. No justice without accountability.

"In the end we all die anyway, so it doesn't matter." This is no conventional political statement; it echoes Albert Camus’s Caligula at the exact moment existential 'absurdity' curdles into tyranny - where the 'inevitability of death' is used to strip the living of their value. Because life ends, Caligula reasoned, the suffering of others is inconsequential. The terrifying difference today is leverage. Caligula had only the primitive tools of Rome; modern nihilism commands vast stockpiles of mass destruction. The greatest geopolitical danger is not a leader confronting mortality. It is a system that uses the inevitability of death to justify indifference to human suffering. “We all die” is a fact; “so it doesn't matter” is the leap where existential dread becomes a political weapon. Those who think they can appease Caligula forget that the absurd recognizes no rule or contract. Appeasement buys no safety - it merely negotiates the order of the victims.

PM Burnham says the UK Government "can confirm our belief that we believe Iran to have played a part" in the RAF Fairford incident. I can confirm Iran's belief that releasing supposed terrorists working for foreign states really says it all. You're barking up the wrong tree.

Statement on Recent Speculations by some British Individuals and Media The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London categorically rejects and strongly condemns the recent unfounded and malicious speculations published by some British individuals and media outlets attempting to link Iran to arrest of five suspects in the vicinity of RAF Fairford base. The Circulation of such fabricated speculations, particularly in the aftermath of the criminal acts of aggression committed by the United States and the Israeli regime against the Iranian people, will serve no purpose other than to fuel Iranophobia propaganda in the UK. The Islamic Republic of Iran reserves the right to take appropriate legal measures, as necessary, to safeguard the rights and interests of the country and its people in response to misleading and damaging media narratives.

Told @MeetThePress: President Pezeshkian and I did not come to New York to sell a war. We came to forge peace. Iran nonetheless remains steadfast in the face of any aggression—even if it comes to an apocalyptic war. At the same time, we are ready for real diplomacy.

This is yet another straightforward admission by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte that Europe knowingly and actively participated in the US-Israeli war of aggression against the nation of Iran, despite the repeated denials issued throughout the war. The EU, its member states, and NATO members must be held accountable for their involvement, including any political, military, logistical, or other support that contributed to death and destruction, as well as for the consequences that continue to be felt today. European citizens have every right to demand answers from their governments about the decisions they made to support or participate in this aggression. The rise in fuel prices and other hardships resulting from this unlawful war should also be examined in light of the role played by European governments in enabling and supporting it. Mark Rutte’s role as NATO Secretary General, including actions taken under his authority, must likewise be subject to scrutiny and investigation.

In meetings with @kajakallas and other EU counterparts, I warned of the severe long-term consequences of facilitating and supporting Israeli-U.S. war crimes, whether in Gaza or Iran. That major folly aside, @SecGenNATO should know by now that groveling never satisfies a bully.

Today is the first day of Mehr, the day Iranian schools reopen: and these are the innocent faces of the children of #Minab, martyred in the savage American Tomahawk missiles attack of 28 February. They should have been here today, bright-eyed and joyful, celebrating the start of a new school year. Instead their slain bodies lie buried in the earth. The government whose president mockingly flouts international law from the UN podium bears responsibility for this unforgivable war crime. All who stood silent and looked away share in that responsibility. The Iranian people will never forget these angelic faces. They will never forgive their killers.

U.S. officials blame Iran for rising fuel prices, as if the public's memory is short enough to forget who actually initiated the war of aggression, and whose actions created the crisis that led to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the disruption of commercial shipping. This isn't a new trick, though. In 1939, Hitler similarly framed his invasion of Poland as a defensive action. When the instigator of an unlawful 'war of choice' blames the victim for the fallout, should this be viewed as 'strategic brilliance', or is it simply a textbook symptom of "The March of Folly"?! #FuelPrices #StraitOfHormuz

The Israel lobby is getting less shy about its grip on U.S. policy toward Iran. In Miriam Adelson’s publication, the Lobby's loudspeaker says U.S. policy must ensure America pays a price for any slight against Israel. High time for Washington to break free from these shackles.

The White House spokesperson has issued a lengthy list of accusations against Iran. With striking precision, most of these charges describe the very actions the United States itself has initiated, perpetrated, or supported. This flight from reality and act of projection should come as no surprise: “The wicked flee when no one is pursuing.” — Proverbs 28:1

🎙️ IPIS VideoCast | Beyond Narrative ⁉️ Mushahid Hussain Syed in Conversation with IPIS 🔹 Mushahid Hussain Syed, Pakistani Senator and political figure, describes the US and Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran as an illegal, unwarranted act and a “monumental blunder.” 🔹 He also identifies Zionism and the idea of “Greater Israel” as the biggest threat to the Muslim world and warns of claims that maps for a “Greater Israel” already exist. 🔹 He calls for the full implementation of the Islamabad MoU, in letter and spirit, and says Pakistan should not be influenced by Netanyahu, arguing that the problem with US foreign policy is that it puts “Israel first.” 🌏 Pointing to the dawn of the Asian Century and what he describes as the decline of the West, Syed says the era of a unipolar world and a sole superpower is over, and that the world is moving toward a multipolar order based on equality, justice, and fairness. 🔻 He describes the Islamic Republic of Iran as a powerful entity that has withstood aggression, including from two nuclear powers, and highlights Iran’s role in the emerging global order. 🔹 In his view, the era of the Western-led order is over, while a new world order spearheaded by China is emerging across the region and the Global South, with Iran, Pakistan, Türkiye, and Saudi Arabia forming part of this transformation. 📌 “Welcome to the new world order. Pakistan and Iran will drive the Asian Century that Iqbal predicted 90 years ago.” 📺 The full interview with Mushahid Hussain Syed will be available within the next few minutes on the IPIS YouTube piped.video/@ipistalk?si=G7p…

Washington still seems to assume that nations have neither memory nor the capacity for critical thought. It treats the world as if it were *Pluribus*: a hive in which minds are expected to switch off, eyes lock onto Washington’s lips, and its narrative is swallowed whole. On one side stands a brutal economic war, deliberately designed to inflict maximum pain and suffering on every Iranian citizen. On the other stands the theatrical announcement of measures to stop Iranian officials from supposedly shopping at an American wholesale club. They look past the sanctioning of an entire nation’s livelihood, then issue solemn statements about the sanctioning of a store membership card. The propaganda is so crude and threadbare that it exposes the naivety of the mindset that launched an unlawful war of choice against the Nation of Iran, and helped deliver the United States to the embarrassing position it occupies today.

The German Chancellor speaks of Iran’s “war,” its “military nuclear program,” and Iran’s “proxies.” This narrative is knowingly distorted. It was #USrael - not Iran - that launched a war of aggression, and Germany failed to show even the minimum moral courage required to deplore that. Those Berlin labels “proxies” are independent actors with their own clear causes and calculations. They are fighting for self-determination, freedom, and dignity against occupation, aggression and subjugation. Iran has no “military” nuclear program - no matter how often the Israeli fabricated 'big lie' is repeated by Israeli apologists. Our region should not have to pay the price for Germany’s guilt complex or its habit of appeasement vis-a-vis bullies. Germany cannot underwrite the "dirty work" and then pose as a champion of peace and a moral instructor.

Fiction: Iran is defenseless. Fact: 100s of U.S. military sites blown to pieces; dozens of aircraft scorched. (Source: The Pentagon) And that's just the tip of the iceberg. We'll reveal it all in due course. For those who've sold lies about Iran, it won't be pretty.
