Credit where credit is due. Who would have thought we'd have the Greens to thank for destroying Labor's Digital Duty of Care laws?

30 percent of approved drugs are later withdrawn. We can no longer trust our drug agencies. TGA is 96 percent funded by the pharmaceutical industry and has admitted it has ‘no duty of care for Australians’.

This came up on my Facebook memory today. I look back and am proud of my role during the campaign. I always pitched my message for those in the Yes camp or on the fence. My arguments were never for the echo chamber.

How do you destroy your education system. This ⬇️
How do you destroy an education system in 30 years? Double the funding and spend the money on anything but better teachers. Shut down the schools because of a seasonal flu and tell the children they are a danger to others. Traumatise children with climate and cultural guilt. 1/N

"We've increased the office tenfold". Why would you brag about that as a metric?
The government have decided not to renew her contract, in other words...

It's all dawned on me - finally! Till Marshall, there was NO discipline called "economics". It was only political economy. That is because the study of government (evil, etc.) was an INTEGRAL part of the study of the economy. One could not talk about the economy without spending much time to understand the origin of, and limitations of government intervention. But from Alfred Marshall onwards, the government was ASSUMED to be perfect (superior to God). Any questions about the government's origin and capability were now brushed under the carpet, tucked into a couple of nondescript lines or into footnotes. Government was BANISHED from economics because it was the PERFECT ENFORCER OF EFFICIENCY. In my view, any economist who doesn't spend MORE TIME to understand the government than he does to understand trivial maths (economists undertake the most trivial of all maths), is a pseudo-economist. Such people are the first to support TERRORISM such as lockdowns, vaccine mandates, mask mandates and mandatory fortification. Their STUPID, trivial "equations" tell them so!

Someone heard me speak about my new book, Turn the Tide. He contacted me and generously offered to buy 125 books to be given away to pastors. This batch of 16 is now in the post with more to come. Please pray 🙏 with me that these will be seed falling on good soil. The crisis in our nation is real, our kids’ future is in jeopardy. The church needs to take the battle more seriously. Order your copy at turnthetide.au. Thank you!

Twenty years ago, I noticed something curious. Systems as different as neocortices, ant colonies, computer software, electronic circuits, websites, bird vocalizations, and human organizations all face essentially the same challenge: how to generate increasingly large repertoires of behavior without becoming hopelessly inefficient. loofwired.com/p/what-do-brai…

Last year, the National Cancer Institute decided to transition early-phase pediatric brain tumor trials from a network known as PBTC to a much larger clinical trial network known as PEP-CTN. We updated from a 15-hospital network to a 42-hospital network, adapting to the modern landscape of pediatric cancer trials to better accelerate potential treatments. Contrary to false reporting, this was not a cost-cutting measure. It was a big-picture investment in what will deliver results for kids with cancer. The CNBC piece is simply inaccurate. The article references an mRNA trial that wasn’t even part of the PBTC. Almost all trials were transitioned to the new network; the only two PBTC trials that ended were not enrolling patients and were not going to achieve accrual goals. Improving pediatric cancer treatment remains a high priority for the NIH and the NCI. Increasing the size of our pediatric brain tumor clinical trial network is an important step forward for our patients.
NIH funding cuts delayed a promising childhood brain cancer trial. Patients lost time they didn't have. cnbc.com/2026/09/25/nih-cuts…
