🧩 Here for the tech - Blockchain by day, Chart analyst by night. Full-time Crypto Nerd

🧩 Apparently, if you're not a permanent Algorand moonboy, you're a FUDder now. So just to make things clear: I still hold $ALGO. I tweet about the tech, the adoption, the good news and the things Algorand does better than most chains. But I also criticize what I think deserves criticism. Sometimes seriously, sometimes with humor. And sometimes I ask uncomfortable questions just to open a debate. That's not FUD. When you've been invested in something for 6+ years, watched it lose ~95% from its ATH, and seen questionable decisions, investments and money lost along the way, I think you have every right to ask questions. Especially when the Foundation still relies on selling ALGO to fund its operations, salaries, marketing, ecosystem development, etc. You can believe Algorand has some of the best tech in crypto and still question how the Foundation operates. Those two things aren't mutually exclusive. I don't want to be a moonboy or a FUDder. I just want to be factual.

🧩 Update algorand:native - 1h I always talk about "support & resistance" but there is a reason. Look at this chart. algorand:native gently kissed the grey supply zone and directly went down. I asked in a previous tweet "Will algorand:native break $0.13 this time?" We got our answer. 3 options right now: -Bounce on the yellow/green lines, EMA/Price range -Bounce on the white diagonal line -Bounce on the green Demand zone
🧩 algorand:native - 1H Still in the up trend. As long as algorand:native stays above that white diagonal line, you can keep your long, if you have any. If it starts to go below $0.1225, it would mean that it needs to grab liquidity around $0.1130. W&S

This is a great example of how markets surrounding #Altcoins are moving. algorand:native is looking for a relatively strong breakout going upwards. Every time it hits that crucial resistance zone, that's when the real expansion starts to kick in. This is what we've seen in 2023, 2024 and are very likely going to see happening in the coming period in 2026. Additionally, there's a strong bullish divergence indicating that there's a reversal happening and that's exactly what we're seeing on the markets right now. If this breakout happens, this could easily run towards $0.45 or even $0.60.

🧩 “Algorand Foundation keeps selling $ALGO to fund operations.” True. But let’s put it into perspective. $ALGO: 38M sold in Q4 2025, 24M in Q1 2026, 10.6M in Q2. $XLM: Stellar’s Direct Development allocation went from ~11.95B XLM to ~1.94B. SDF explicitly sells XLM on Kraken, Coinbase, Bitstamp and directly to fund its operations and ecosystem work. $ETH: Ethereum Foundation also sells ETH to fund operations. Its treasury policy explicitly ties ETH sales to its operating expenses and cash runway. $ADA: Different model. Cardano uses its on-chain treasury. ~96.8M ADA was approved in 2025 for 12 months of core development, plus separate treasury funding for research, governance, marketing and events. $DOT: Also treasury-funded. Polkadot spent ~19.9M DOT ($133M) in 2024, including $48M on outreach, $32M on development and $19M on business development. So yes, Algorand sells ALGO to fund operations. But using native tokens to pay for development, marketing and ecosystem operations is absolutely not unique to Algorand. The main difference is that Algorand documents these sales much more openly than most, with quarterly reports detailing exactly how much was sold. Transparency can make the selling look worse, simply because you can actually see it
In the last 10 days AF sold exactly 20 million $ALGO . Thats 2 million algo everyday

Algorand is currently valued at ~$1B, while several competing networks have multibillion-dollar valuations Concern with Algorand isn’t simply that it sells $ALGO - others do too. Question is how much of the treasury is being consumed relative to the network’s valuation & revenue

Problems are revenue, marketing & networking

Agree - they’re nowhere close to sustaining their operations. I’m watching with hope that the new CEO will turn things around a drive revenue.

Or it looks worse because they spend the money and the ecosystem doesn't grow or make profit.

CEO is here to connect with the right people and make Algorand a no brainer. XRP, TRON, SOL, ETH, ADA manage to do it. That s why most of them are part of the big discussions and invited to big event, white house, banking etc.. Staci wasn t capable of that. I hope he is
