what's the hardest marketing skill to learn in 2026?
Almost nobody said the thing that decides if you get paid 🎯
I read every answer. but they best marketers called
Copywriting. Strategy. Consistency. Resilience. Running ads. Shutting up and listening. (that one's good)
Only two people mentioned the offer . casually .
That's the problem.
You can write GREAT copy for a bad offer. It just sells a bad offer faster.
Here's what I mean 👇
Take a cleaning company that charges $180 for a clean. Same as everyone else in town. So customers pick the cheapest one.
Don't change the cleaning. Change the offer:
→ Friday Reset. $149 a week. Your home is clean before every weekend. Plus 1 free clean every 3 months when you sign a 3-month contract with us.
Cheaper per visit? Yes. But a customer who books every Friday pays you every week, not once. but they locked in for 3 months
offer creation. did that.
Same service. Better offer. More liquidity lock in upfront
Here is How to check your own offer 🧪
1. Can a customer tell you apart from your competitor in five seconds? If not, they pick on price.
2. Who EXACTLY is it for? Everyone is not an answer.
3. Why should they buy now and not next month?
If you can't answer all three, your copy isn't the problem.
And the answers in that thread weren't wrong also. Knowing your market, saying the right thing to the right person... that's all offer work. They just didn't call it that.
