the older opus 4.6 and sonnet 4.6 are still hanging around for now, but they're getting the boot on november 2, 2026.
it's a step toward model agnostic coding tools, where you pick the model that fits the job.
but don't expect a seamless engine swap.
your model choice sticks for the whole conversation, and if you switch while it's running, the current execution keeps going with the old model until it wraps up.

I’ve been looking into two NFT projects that are taking very different approaches to what NFTs can actually become.

It’s an 8,888 robot collection, but the NFT is really being used as an entry point into a wider ecosystem.
Holders get access to digital content, commercial IP rights, a book library, music and CyberCortex, its community-management product.
What caught my attention is CyberCortex itself.
Instead of building a tool only for CyberThrone holders, the team is turning its community infrastructure into a product that can serve other Web3 communities too.
So the bigger idea here is less about owning a robot and more about turning that IP into products, software and content around it.

September was a pretty big month for @axisrobotics
the biggest thing that caught my attention is the scale of their data engine
they crossed 5M trajectories on Base (now over 6M),
while their Franka datasets became the most downloaded open source simulated Franka manipulation dataset on Hugging Face
they also had a strong month on the research side.
their AXIS paper was accepted to the Physical World Models workshop at IROS 2026,
alongside work exploring how robotic models can continuously generate and learn from better real world data
then there was the community sale on Sonar, which attracted 2,472 participants and raised over 2.39M USDC
what is interesting about Axis is that they’re approaching Physical AI from the data side
building a system where more contributors, tasks and robot interactions can continuously improve the intelligence behind robots
if this data flywheel keeps compounding, it’ll be interesting to see where Axis ends up in the broader Physical AI race

Solana hasn't stopped cooking on RWAs.
▪︎ Yesterday, Backpack Securities brought tokenized BlackRock $BLK to Solana through Sunrise.
The tokenized shares can trade 24/7 on Raydium and are backed 1:1 by the underlying stock.
▪︎ Tokenized Powerus shares also went live on Solana.
Powerus $PUSA had only just gone public on Nasdaq after completing its merger on Oct. 1.
By Oct. 2, its tokenized shares were already trading on Solana through Backpack Securities.
$PUSA reportedly did around $8M in trading volume on Solana within its first four hours.
That's more than double the dollar volume the stock saw on Nasdaq during the same period.
Stocks are moving onchain.
They can trade around the clock.
They can settle on blockchain rails.
And eventually, they can become composable with the rest of DeFi.
