By far my longest, most personal and most exposing piece. But it felt like a long time coming.

Initially, I wasn’t gonna make a full video or write a full script for Control Resonant. I was just gonna write something here, post it, and call it a day. But after a while, I kept thinking about it, and I realized I actually wanted to write a full script. Not a review. More like a straight-up praise of this game. I wanna praise everything about it. Every single design choice, every idea, every mission, every side story, every collectible, EVERYTHING. This game is so immersive, and it never dropped that feeling for a minute across the 50 hours I played. I beat the game today and finished pretty much everything 100%, except for some combat abilities. I think those might be possible to fully upgrade in New Game+, but other than that, I’ve finished everything in the world. All the puzzles, collectibles, side content, everything. There are a couple of small side missions where you have to chase a baby stroller. I did not like that one. I hate that kind of thing, so I skipped it. 😂 But honestly, it’s not a big deal. I know there’s a story behind it Other than that, I’m still writing the script now. I wanna make a video about this game and just talk about it until I’m done talking. Maybe I’ll make the video this week, maybe next week. We’ll see when I finish writing it. But I know one thing: just writing something about this game, or calling it a review, doesn’t feel like enough. I need to talk about this beautiful experience properly.
