Amped to say I've joined the world-class team @zellic_io as Growth Lead for their audit and node operation business! I'll be working closely with teams at all stages to help them build more secure protocols. I couldn't be happier to join @gf_256 and @ret2jazzy in their mission to find all the bugs and save all the money. Zellic's node ops uniquely support both pre-launch and well-established networks in a few ways: - Teams (Foundations, LSTs, etc.) that delegate to us earn back a portion of our nodes' rewards as audit credits, effectively keeping our s-tier security engineers on retainer - Zellic's unparalleled depth of experience auditing protocols, core node software, pentesting, etc. ensures that when shit goes pear-shaped and you pick up the red phone - people who can fix it answer the call - We're invested in your success. When number go up you get more audit credits and you can build more (and more secure) stuff In my brief time with the team I've been amazed at their commitment to openness, collaboration, and to each other's success. I'm humbled and grateful to be here. Let's build cool shit together.

I've been discussing how much of "the transaction lifecycle" is off the actual blockchain for a loooong time now. Yet that seems to be the only focus of the industry. So I've started to write about it and look at it more specifically, using an application (built on @Logos_network) to elucidate the points I've been trying to make. We leak data across the entire txn lifecycle, and all of that data is monetized, or leveraged in some other more nefarious way, against the user. Here's the first in the series, looking at all the steps along the way before we even start to draft the txn itself. forum.research.logos.co/t/th… I would love feedback and criticism. Break the model I've made and prove me wrong, let me know what else you'd like to see, what other data would bolster the argument or prove it wrong? I'm want to dive and I want your help doing it. Logos is a modular stack that makes it easier for me to really do it all and watch the data flow through the whole pipeline, let's go!

The latest from the Project Eleven blog by @furkanakal Almost everything a blockchain does comes down to checking signatures. Balances, transactions, consensus votes... Strip away the machinery and a node spends its day asking one question over and over. Does this signature verify under that public key? There's no encryption protecting your coins. What protects them is that only you can produce a valid signature for your key. Today, that is done by four schemes: ECDSA, Schnorr, EdDSA, and BLS. They look like four independent choices, but as we'll see, they're really four versions of the same bet. This post kicks off our post-quantum signing series, and the goal is to build the foundation: what a digital signature actually is, how each of the four works, what they cost, and why a single quantum algorithm eventually retires all of them at once. We found bugs in @Zcash. Not in circuits or cryptography, but in the implementation of Zebra, the Rust full node. Caching, error handling and peer attribution bugs led to multiple ways to stall or crash a node, giving $93,750 in bounties. Here’s how we poisoned Zcash’s state.

I once dreamt of a gray planet beside Saturn. It had a name: HEMEP. I remembered its location, atmosphere, and feeling, so I built an interactive archive of it. An unconfirmed planet, first observed in a dream. hemep.space
