AOC: And for anyone who says that’s unrealistic… this is literally what baby boomers gave themselves. Public colleges in America were tuition-free. You know when they started to get defunded? They got defunded when they started to get integrated.

AOC: What the elite want—and they’re already planning for it—is to hoard all of the resources for themselves as the world gets more and more physically unstable. And in an environment of AI, they want to wipe out all of our livelihoods. They want to make sure none of us have jobs, and they want to keep all the spoils of those riches while consuming and burning energy at a pace that is completely unsustainable.

AOC: That’s why they are going after every man, woman, and child… Because the CEO of Geo Group and the CEO of CoreCivic—they’ve got profits at the end of the quarter to post. And if you think I’m not telling the truth, just look at the Republican members of Congress that like to invest in those stocks right before they authorize funding for ICE. They’re all on the take. ICE is a new agency, created in the surveillance-state establishment after 9/11. ICE is Palantir. ICE is AI. ICE is facial recognition. ICE is surveillance. And ICE is coming after you, regardless of your status. And so that’s not to say that there shouldn’t be any enforcement….

AOC: AI systems want us to be dependent and outsource our cognition to a machine, and they want us to increasingly rely on AI systems so that they can sell intelligence back to us. AI needs two things. It needs capital-intensive resources. But it also needs an uneducated population that cannot think, that is not educated, that relies on it so that they can sell cognition back to us.

.@AOC: The best thing that we can do to rein in runaway cost at private institution is by having tuition free public colleges and universities. “For anyone who wants to say that that’s pie in the sky and unrealistic… this is literally what baby boomers gave themselves.”
