One place, more ways to work. Chat through a problem, delegate a task, build an app, and automate workflows. The refreshed Microsoft Copilot app brings the ways you work with AI together in one place.   Because Copilot is the AI built for work. Learn more: msft.it/092526x
We’re building Copilot as a new OS for work that spans every model, every form factor, and every task. Today, we’re announcing our biggest update to Copilot to date, bringing four things together: · Autopilot: proactive and long-running agent built for the enterprise · Code: build apps with Copilot, hosted inside your company’s tenant · Home: Chat + Cowork together · Office: now fully embedded in Copilot (and Copilot embedded in Office, of course!) Plus, you can invoke Copilot in Teams, and we’re introducing Today, a proactive experience that surfaces the most important information from across M365 without needing to ask for it. The way we work is changing and so are our workflows. This update brings AI into that flow, from answering a question, to building an app, to getting work done on your behalf.

More models, more ways to delegate work to Copilot. OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Sol and Anthropic's Claude Sonnet 5.5 start rolling out today, joining the Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Sol options we added earlier this month. Pick the model that fits the task, and Work IQ helps ground responses in your files, meetings and chats, within your existing permissions. Rolling out today in Copilot Cowork and Copilot Studio. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chat follow in phases over the coming week. Read more: msft.it/6015alJL1

AI built for work should help teams find answers in company data, develop their ideas, and build agents around their own workflows. That means thinking beyond whichever model is winning this week and giving businesses AI embedded in the apps they use and the intellectual property that sets them apart from the competition. This is big for makers! An important part of this new OS: everything you build with Copilot you can now deploy to the Copilot Managed Runtime. That means apps "just work," can be shared like documents, and are fully secured and managed in the Microsoft Admin Center -- no matter whether you start creating them in the flow of work, in the Code tab, with Copilot Studio, or any coding agent of your choice. Check out more details on the blog: microsoft.com/en-us/copilot/…

People increasingly want to hand off more work to AI and turn their ideas into automations or apps. That shaped what we’re building with Copilot. Autopilot and Managed Apps in Code / Cowork have been two of my favorites to use internally these past couple of months. You can give Autopilot a role and a goal and it keeps working across days or weeks. Mine is named Apollo. :) And when you want to build an app with Copilot, Managed Apps let you share it with your team. More here: aka.ms/AA13g7uq

Thank you for turning @openclaw into a project that I (and my team) could show up and make better. What many people don’t know is that this project is one of the best places to learn how agentic engineering is evolving. It’s also been a lot of fun. It’s quite empowering to think of an idea, merge a PR and see it show up and work for millions of people. As we shape Autopilot we are also shaping OpenClaw’s future.
Today Microsoft announced Autopilot, an always on agent built on OpenClaw The best part of this collaboration is how much @OmarShahine and others at Microsoft have contributed BACK to OpenClaw Read all about the contributions Omar and his team made here: openclaw.ai/blog/microsoft-a…

Been working with Omar and Peter and Jakob and the team on this since conception. Watching Omar cook has been super fun! Autopilot (née Scout) is managed OpenClaw with special herbs and spices! Let’s hear it for open source! (I wanted to call it Clippy)
Microsoft shipped a really compelling product on top of @OpenClaw today. We worked with them since March to make the codebase ready for large-scale deployments, they are a great partner and open-source contributor. 🙏🦞

Every team has a different way of building slides, but yours shouldn’t. Now available: Brand Kit and Skills in Copilot in PowerPoint help teams create on-brand presentations faster, reducing repetitive formatting, eliminating the hunt for the right template, and making it easier to scale approved designs. • Brand Kit brings approved templates, colors, fonts, and brand assets directly into the creation process with Copilot. • Skills help streamline common PowerPoint tasks people do repeatedly to speed up presentation creation with Copilot. Less time on slide styles. More time on what those slides are trying to say. Learn more: msft.it/6019abXsb

From turning ideas into apps (available in the Frontier program) to working directly in the files your team already uses, the latest Copilot Cowork updates are designed for the way work actually gets done. Explore what's new: msft.it/09102026_1
Now you can build apps in Cowork and Copilot Studio. Just another vibecoding play? Not quite. Many agents can write a decent front end today. The important part is what happens before and after. Now anyone can build in the flow of work, in the context of Work IQ. "Let's create a plan for this next product launch" can naturally evolve to "let's build an app based on the discussion in yesterday's meeting and the email and Teams threads about the project." And, critically, the apps you create are hosted, secured, and fully managed by Microsoft, connecting natively to the places you already keep business data. So no more "check out my cool app at localhost:3000" or "great, now I need to spin up a bunch of services and jump through a bunch of approval hoops to deploy this thing." Just click 'share' and send a link, we'll take it from there. More details about the new /app skill on the Cowork blog: techcommunity.microsoft.com/… And the same capabilities coming to Studio here: microsoft.com/en-us/microsof…
