To reveal your character through decoding, you need 2 Traces: 1 Base + 1 Cipher Check the Method trait: Base = Key Base64 / Binary / Punched card = Cipher Any Base works with any Cipher. Next: what determines the odds.

yeah, it’s actually pretty interesting that vesty is a girl. a lot of people still think she’s a guy 😂😭 there really aren’t that many female builders in this space, right? either way, the art and the idea have already found their place :)

7,777 Traces. Only 3,888 characters will ever exist. October 6.

ossen. modest. jack butcher. natealex. imfuckingretard. benlio. and many more. these are just a few names that come to mind, but this post isn’t only about the bigger collectors or people with a large audience. i see every tweet, every reply, every small interaction around Trace. before the launch, i remember DMing so many people myself just to tell them more about Trace, because i believed in Vesty’s art and the idea behind it from day one. and i still do. so this tweet is really for everyone who supported Trace in any way. whether you swept, bought one piece, posted about it, replied, shared it with someone, or simply paid attention to the art. thank you. genuinely.

GM. Saw the recent Argonauts update and thought it was just an animation. But lol, when you open your Argonaut on OpenSea from your phone and tap it, it literally changes its style. it’s just insane 🤯

okay. jack butcher just swept @traceforms jesus @0xvesty what have you done

and about the characters + rarity: there is no recipe for getting a specific character. the screenshot below shows your chances of pulling a rare or 1/1. so basically: buy a Base (0.0183 floor) + add any Cipher you want to test your luck with. on tuesday, burn the Base and your Cipher updates into a character. that’s it.

ok, in simple terms for my favorite degens: decoding opens on october 6. the mechanic is a merge. you need at least 2 NFTs: 1 Base + 1 Cipher. Trace basically contains two collections in one: you can keep the abstract encoded form or decode it into the character form. in the end, there can only be 3,888 characters. pretty bullish if you ask me. IT'S BURN SEASON AYO

A good day for Trace. Jack Butcher followed Vesty, and NateAlex picked up quite a few. Almost 100 ETH in volume, with listings down by half in less than a day. Happy to see your work getting more recognition, @0xvesty Well deserved :)

Since a lot of people were having issues with OpenSea crashing while viewing the collection, especially on mobile, i’ve optimized it as much as possible and it’s working much better now. That said, since this is a fully onchain collection and each NFT is rendered in real time when you open it, it may still take a little longer to load compared to a collection that isn’t onchain. Also, tomorrow i’ll be publishing a full article with all the details about the next stage of the character reveal.

Really happy to have you here, Ossen! Thank you for being one of the top holders and the support. As an artist, that genuinely means a lot to me. 🤍

i really like this new feature ;) explained a bit why I’m bullish on Trace. not to mention, the collection itself already has a lot of great art collectors, with Ossen being the top holder ;)

oooo, this is such a cool feature! @loshmi they did it finally really cool feature for the traders & collectors

bought 5 AGNT by @Tuteth_ I’ve been following his project for a long time but never really had the time to get into it. Finally got a bit more free time and picked up a couple. He’s building an entire product around it, which I respect a lot. But what I like even more is that he still put real effort into the art. You can buy it simply because it looks good, without even thinking about the product behind it. Well done. Keep shipping.
