When federal agents seized my phones at Dulles Airport, they flagrantly violated several 4th circuit rulings which explicitly forbid advanced forensic searches of devices without a warrant or individualized suspicion. Was the order to seize my devices delivered under pressure from unregistered Israel and Ukraine lobbyist Laura Loomer, who boasted about calling Trump cabinet officials to demand I be jailed for my reporting from Iran, and effectively took credit for the confiscation of my devices? We're filing this lawsuit to answer that question, and to prevent the unconstitutional weaponization of federal law enforcement against journalists whose reporting complicates their malign, Israeli-directed agenda.
The @adc is suing DHS Secretary Mullin over the seizure of Max Blumenthal’s phones after he returned from reporting in Iran The lawsuit accuses the govt of not only violating his Fourth Amendment rights, but of retaliating against him for his journalism thegrayzone.com/2026/08/20/a…

Standing beside the former chairman of Blackrock, Mark Rutte gets a "peace prize" days after insisting NATO and Europe deserve partial credit for Trump's war on Iran
The Westphalian Peace Prize was awarded to NATO, while members of the public booed Mark Rutte and Friedrich Merz. Europe seems to be drifting into a political legitimacy crisis, and giving themselves peace prizes does not reverse it.

reason.com/2026/10/01/border… Excellent piece in @reason by @matthew_petti about the CBP's increasingly frequent abuse of the border search exception to the Fourth Amendment to search the smartphones of travelers--including, apparently, journalists and lawyers it wants to target, and @adc's cases against the government in Blumenthal v. Biden “nearly” interrupted Netanyahu and was ready to just say “I’m done” But he forked over another massive pile of baby-buster bombs and kept the Gaza Holocaust trains running on time Nuremberg 2.0 for Genocide Joe
The day that Biden grew so angry at Netanyahu that he nearly cut him off: "He was just completely fed up with everything and I think at that moment he was ready to just say, 'I’m done,'" @brett_mcgurk recalls as he releases "Brink," his memoir of Gaza war. nytimes.com/2026/10/01/us/po…

"I came from Israel to tell the truth" lol
During the screening of the film in Delft, Netherlands, an Israeli woman stood up and disrupted the film where Israeli soldiers and commanders admit on camera to the mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza during the genocide. Claiming she arrived from Israel to tell them the "truth," the audience laughed at her claims and forced her out.

I came to address the topic under discussion, which was US and Russian foreign policy. @ScottLucas_EA repeatedly tried to make the debate about me in such a juvenile fashion that he cited (irrelevant) Twitter posts to make his case. And as he has repeatedly on Twitter, he also lied about the OPCW whistleblowers -- who I'm always honored to defend. Especially in Ireland, home to one of them. Video should be out soon. Thanks to UCD for having me and to everyone who attended, on either side of the debate, in good faith.
Replying to @aaronjmate
Hey there Aaron Well done on staying composed It was pathetic to see Scott Lucas from the Clinton institute of UCD spew lie after lie and the manner in which he constantly attacked your journalistic credentials says a lot about the calibre of his academic integrity and UCDs

Bolivia has thanked the Trump administration for its help in disappearing the country's Attorney General It is now essentially illegal to scrutinize the misdeeds of Trump's Latin American bagman, Fernando Cerimedo, who reportedly said, “Narcotrafficking is not to be combated but administered”
The US-backed regime of Rodrigo Paz in Bolivia has returned the country to a police state, with masked agents seizing the Attorney General and offices of 3 separate public prosecutors — likely to prevent the emergence of key evidence in a top-level government conspiracy to murder a witness to their international cocaine trafficking plot. The story burst into public view last month when Attorney General Roger Mariaca indicted presidential advisor Fernando Cerimedo (seen on the right posing with Donald Trump, Jr. below). A growing body of evidence indicates Cerimedo ordered a hit on his pregnant mistress after she discovered he was raking in millions by covering up hundreds of flights by cartel-linked planes smuggling cocaine from Bolivia’s Beni province. When he realized she might turn him in, Cerimedo messaged Bolivia’s anti-drug intelligence chief to inform him that his mistress had “sold us out.” “Either we eliminate her or we’re all fucked. Do you know anyone who can do the job?” Two minutes after the hit was carried out, Paz’s intelligence chief texted Cerimedo: “Brother, they just shot her.” Instead of pursuing Trump-tied Cerimedo for this horrifying crime, the US tried to turn the tables, banning Mariaca from the US and claiming it was *actually* the Bolivian AG who was “soliciting and accepting bribes to facilitate narcotrafficking and helped violent criminals evade justice.” Now, Mariaca has been disappeared, and public prosecutors who may have evidence of the regime’s crimes are being targeted across the country. Thanks to regime’s ongoing state of exception, “unauthorized” non-family gatherings are illegal, so anyone protesting this heinous miscarriage of justice is also subject to arrest. When Marco Rubio pledged to “transform the Western Hemisphere” last week, who knew this is what he meant?

48 Zionist-imperialist stooge states - now including Venezuela
48 UN Member States refused to participate in the UN’s shameful High-Level Meeting commemorating the 25th anniversary of the notorious anti-Western, antisemitic Durban Conference – nearly a quarter of the UN. This was a significant increase from 38 countries boycotting in 2021. We thank all Member States who joined the United States in rejecting Durban’s poisonous legacy.

According to an eyewitness account given to @nytimes, the @flydubai cockpit door was partly opened. Unclear if the injured pilot had managed to open it from inside, but that is entirely plausible. The point is, according to this account, the door was not broken into, which if this is accurate, resolves a big question people have been wildly speculating about. Do we know what happened for sure? No. But all this is plausible and I mention it to say that there is no point in people spinning definitive stories with little knowledge based on huge assumptions. Of course "Israel" will spin the story to its best advantage, but that does not mean "Israel" created the incident. As I said earlier, this incident does not help "Israel," because its diplomatic, aviation, tourist and military relations with the UAE are one of its greatest assets in world that increasingly despises it. It's bad for "Israel," and if "Israel" wanted to create an incident aboard an airliner in order to create a pretext for something, this is not the obvious route or target they would choose. It's entirely plausible one pilot attacked the other in order to take control of the plane. It's plausible it was politically motivated (a person reacting to genocide or other Israeli crimes). It's plausible it was not politically motivated (think of the 2015 Germanwings plane that was crashed by its pilot who reportedly had had severe suicidal ideation). Also note that the @nytimes account says that "passengers" landed the plane, which on its face sounds totally implausible. However qualified pilots also travel as passengers, and this could well have been the case. According to @flydubai's own statement, the aircraft was "successfully secured by on-duty flydubai crew travelling on the flight." (Source in next tweet). All I'm saying is that it is just a bit wearying that people profess complete certainty, sometimes just for engagement, based on extrapolations, assumptions, incomplete information or total fantasies. The difficult part is that I am doubtful we will get complete and accurate information, though I hope I'm wrong about that.

Before Netanyahu and Katz blamed “jihadist terror,” this was the headline
Hijacking ruled out as flydubai flight to Tel Aviv lands at Saudi airport timesofisrael.com/liveblog_e…

When Benajamin Netanyahu and his Likud ally and Defense Minister Israel Katz instantly blamed jihadist terror for the FlyDubai incident, they drowned out an initial assessment by IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and his top commanders that ruled out hijacking as the motive behind the altercation. 14 hours later, Saudi and Emirati state media are still avoiding reference to the incident as a terror attack. They seem to be awaiting the outcome of the Saudi interrogation of the co-pilot who allegedly stabbed the pilot, and the investigation of his motives. Even Donald Trump is entertaining doubt, proclaiming that the stabber was "perhaps a terrorist or a wack job." "This is the story that I heard. I don't know if it's true," Trump added after recounting the Israeli government's storyline. But Netanyahu is determined to consolidate the narrative he spun out moments after the in-air melee was first reported. And he's attempting to merge it with the theatrical message he delivered the day before, when he stood before an F-35 and warned of imminent attacks from Israel's enemies. But as one of his rivals, Yair Lapid, pointed out, Netanyahu said nothing in that warning about hijackings or any potential aerial "terror." The FlyDubai incident was absolutely fortuitous for Netanyahu, materializing as he weathered a barrage of bad press about his negligence on October 7, 2023. In the midst of his most consequential and likely final campaign for re-election, Netanyahu is essentially taking credit for an Entebbe sequel, stopping the terrorist in the cockpit, and preventing a 9/11-style attack on Tel Aviv's Azrieli Center.

WARNING: This pathetic debacle from mega-neocon, close Trump adviser and WPost columnist @MarcThiessen is not only deeply embarrassing but also so revealing. He wanted to justify Israel's destruction of Gaza -- and reject the word "genocide" for it -- by comparing Gaza to what the US did to Dresden, but instead chose a photo of what the Nazis did to Warsaw after the uprising. Through rank ignorance, he showed why Israeli and Nazi behavior are similar. It got properly community-noted, but please be advised: if you're a student or faculty member on an American university and wish to say what I just said -- comparing Nazi conduct in WW2 to Israeli conduct in Gaza -- that speech is now banned as officially "anti-Semitic" under the new, expanded IHRA hate speech codes for "anti-Semitism" that Trump forced American universities to adopt, and can subject you to serious punishments.
Horrifying. Clear evidence of genocide… Oh wait that’s Dresden after US and British bombing in WWII..
