Haha I opened X and didn’t realize this was you. I just saw small pictures and thought “man that guys strong” then I clicked in on the first one and realized who it was 🤣. Great pics brotha❤️.
Stoked to announce we are going live tomorrow over on @Steve_Builds channel to start the Antithesis Aether printer build! Come hang out, it’s gonna be a blast!! piped.video/live/xuVeheiOb6M…
Actually, I'm on a flight out of here in the morning, the installation is going to have to wait a little while but between 12k in my bar and 2 18k units in the shop/studio, should be comfortable when I'm kicked out of the house LOL
You said you’re probably gonna get more use from the heating side of things this winter right? Lol that’s a serious setup. Please send some photos once you’ve got it installed.

ITS ALIVE!
finished the Axel's and drivetrain install on the @LDOmotors kit MOG build. Everything seems to be working during the on the jackstands test. Still a ways to go but should be driving soon hopefully!
Cheers to all who joined the stream last night!
im on page 400 of the 1000 page manual, and im just blown away how...complex it is yet how well its going together so far
Probably not building the camper for it, just going to go with the flatbed, and then have fun putting stuff on it
Yeah I was up in the air at first but the added time, printing, and weight led me to just go with the flatbed. I did a lot of the parts in PCCF because I had it and must have some over extrusion but that’s a me thing and the manual has been great.
I’ve dreamed about this day for a while now. Finally decided enough is enough after streaming in the garage in the mid 90’s. I did a ton of research before hand but even with that ran into plenty of issues. It’s officially done and the garage feels incredible 🙌.
I did a ducted mini-split in the house 8 years ago and my new 3 zone for my studio/shop/bar is on its way, so sometime next week I'll be starting that project. 24t, 18t and 12t. Hopefully it stays cool..... Oh, and warm 😁
Oh wow, does the three zone just use a single compressor? I have seen some that are basically two compressors stacked on top of each other. Also is the unit precharged or will you need to have the refrigerant added? Good luck!!
That’s incredible. Great reaction and happy to hear you got out of there unscathed. Really makes me consider getting a camera like that for the family car.
I follow you for a reason. I was an early early adopter. I was there for the blue tape and allthread rods.
But I just think some things ain't worth printing. Again, YMMV
That’s fair, I see plenty of things I also feel that way about. This was a part I made when testing a printer and something I actually wanted vs just a part I didn’t need to show off ASAP capabilities. lol that’s funny. It’s been quite the ride.
hmmmm $5-7 ASA. 3 hours of time on model and assembly. 6-9 hours print time.
or an extra item at the dollar store.
Don't get me wrong, I've owned probably 10 printers and have about 4 at the moment.. but C'mon. YMMV
I’ve purchased the ones from the dollar store, you can actually see on in the same photo, they suck. There’s also tons of things I do in life that aren’t the most cost effective, but that rarely stops me when I’m excited for the outcome.

Yeah, I’ve just dealt with it for years but summers seem to be getting hotter and my tolerance for working in that environment shrinking. Every time I walk in the garage now it’s such a strange incredible feeling.
Ideally yes. Mine are which I was hoping would be enough to keep my cool for work but instead it has made it more challenging to evacuate heat. Electrical cost and overall efficiency will go down if not insulated.
Good luck with the installs! I highly recommend nylog on the flare joints. I just bent the pipe by hand myself but I was nervous the entire time. I kept shifting the pivot point to try not to cause too much strain and it worked out. Also if you avoid horizontal runs I would try
to. I have a 2-3ft horizontal run and getting the drain tube to have a consistent decline was more challenging than I thought. If I was going further I probably would have swapped the ribbed drain tube for rigid pvc. You got this!
