Muse in the wild: real use cases from people getting things done with Meta's personal AI agent. Tips, workflows, and stories.

There are questions you never ask your bank app. Your bank app lists every ride. It never shows the total. You do not want to see the total. @JoveW asked his Muse anyway: how much have I spent on Lime scooters? It added it up. The answer was not good. Ask yours next.

Zack built his mom a nutrition agent with Muse. It plans her meals and logs her calories. Use this prompt: Help my mom lose weight. Plan her meals and log her calories every day.
Created some health agents for my mom so she can focus on her health and weight loss without stressing about the nuances of deciding meals and logging calories. She is putting her nutrition bot to good use! SI makes life easier. @Muse @Musecases

Bookmark this: "Look at my Amex Platinum benefits. Tell me which credits I have used this year and which I have not. Show me the dollar value I am leaving on the table, and remind me before each unused credit expires." $400 at Resy, $300 at Equinox, $300 at Lululemon. That $895 fee only pays for itself if you use them.

One user had ~$1,000 stuck in an old bank transfer. His personal details did not match, so the money just sat there. He told Muse to fix it, and Muse filed the application for him. Bookmark this. "Look through my bank transfers and pending payments for any money that is stuck or held. When you find one, locate the right claim or correction form. Fill it out with my details, and show it to me before you submit anything." Money stuck in a transfer is still your money.

One question about his ad spend. That was the whole setup. Muse reconciled his Meta, pixel, and GA4 data, spotted what did not match, and caught $1,742 a week leaking out of his ad account. Four dead ads, a broken tracking event, 194 double-counted purchases. Bookmark this. "Audit my ad account for wasted spend. Pull the ad platform, pixel, and analytics data and flag anything that does not match. List every ad spending with no return, every broken tracking event, and every double-counted conversion. Tell me exactly what to pause, fix, or kill." Ad money leaks quietly. A weekly check takes five minutes to set up.

Dad visit incoming. This Muse user had it build a day-by-day Austin concert guide and email it over. The personal agent life.
Replying to @Musecases
@Musecases I love this use case. My dad's visiting me in Austin, Texas, in a few weeks, and I had Muse compile a day-to-day overview of every concert when he's in town (ranging from small venues to large venues) and had him email the list!

Muse scanned a Gmail inbox and caught a phishing scam. Google's own AI missed it. Muse asked for permission, then sent it to trash. Try this prompt: 'Scan my inbox for phishing emails. Flag anything suspicious and ask me before deleting.'

Dozens of old posts with broken Markdown. Muse fixed them one by one. Same words, clean formatting. This is the work nobody wants to do.
#Muse use case I had already seen the editor problems in the old posts. Raw Markdown never rendered, so the asterisks and hashes were just sitting there. Going into every post, one by one, to fix them felt like too much work. So I left them. This morning I thought: just hand that pass to Muse. Substack does not read Markdown. Bold stays as asterisks. A heading stays as a hash. Deleting the symbols is not a fix. The editor has to apply bold, heading, list, and quote, then the markers come off. One published post at a time. Wording unchanged. Update in place. Reload the public URL. Then the next one. Oldest first. The launch note still had the raw markers around "What You Actually Get." That is the whole use case.

One guy had Muse submit a credit dispute at 7:09 in the evening. By 8:25 both collection accounts were deleted from his credit. The fight that usually takes weeks of paperwork happened in an hour. Bookmark this. "Pull my credit report and list every collection account on it. For each one, check whether the debt is accurate and current. Draft a dispute letter for anything that looks wrong or outdated, and tell me exactly where to send each one. Then keep checking until the bureaus respond." Collections sit on your report for seven years. Or they disappear in an evening.
