🚨 Akash expands into Russia’s traditional defence market as Tajikistan and Turkmenistan turn to India India’s indigenous Akash surface-to-air missile system has added Tajikistan and Turkmenistan to its export footprint after Armenia, marking a significant Indian entry into a Central Asian defence market historically dominated by Soviet and Russian-origin systems. Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh has confirmed that Armenia was the first overseas customer for Akash and acquired multiple batteries. He further stated, to a news agency, that India subsequently exported the system to Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. The disclosure also corroborates an earlier statement by former DRDO Chairman Dr Samir V. Kamat, who had identified Tajikistan and Turkmenistan among the countries receiving the Indian-built air-defence system. Exact quantities, variants and contract values remain undisclosed. The timing is strategically important because Akash received major operational validation during Operation Sindoor in May 2025. During Pakistani drone and missile attacks between 7–10 May, India employed a layered air-defence architecture combining indigenous and legacy systems to detect, track and neutralise incoming threats. The Government of India later described Akash’s performance during the operation as “stellar”. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also highlighted the effective employment of Akash, Akashteer and other indigenous systems during Operation Sindoor. An Akash-specific interception or kill tally has not been officially released. Akash is a mobile medium-range surface-to-air missile system designed to engage aircraft, helicopters and UAVs. The baseline system has an officially listed engagement range of roughly 4.5–25 km and an altitude envelope extending up to around 20 km. It also incorporates electronic counter-countermeasures and multi-target engagement capability. Its multi-target capability was demonstrated during the Indian Air Force’s Astrashakti exercise, where a single Akash firing unit engaged four aerial targets simultaneously. That capability is particularly relevant against saturation attacks involving multiple aircraft, drones or other aerial threats. 🚀 The broader significance lies in geography. Tajikistan and Turkmenistan have historically relied heavily on Soviet and Russian-origin military equipment. Their procurement of an Indian surface-to-air missile therefore represents an important expansion of India’s defence-export footprint into Central Asia. 🪷 Operation Sindoor should not be presented as the sole cause of these contracts, particularly as procurement discussions can pre-date combat employment. What Sindoor did provide, however, was something highly valuable for an export weapon system: publicly demonstrated operational credibility under hostile conditions. Akash is now moving through a trajectory increasingly important for India’s defence industry: Indian induction → operational validation → overseas adoption. Armenia created the first export breakthrough. Tajikistan and Turkmenistan now extend that footprint into Central Asia. 🎯 Strategic Lens Akash is emerging as one of India’s most important indigenous defence-export success stories. Its expansion into countries traditionally dependent on Russian military hardware suggests that Indian air-defence systems are beginning to compete for space in markets where Moscow once held overwhelming influence. #Akash #Akashteer #SAMs @armenia @MFAofArmenia @turkmenistan

🇵🇭 Philippines Closes To 100 Yards Of Chinese Research Ship — Beijing Sends Coast Guard To Shield It “The PCG will continue to challenge, disrupt, and drive away the vessel until it leaves Philippine waters.” — Rear Admiral Jay Tarriela, Philippine Coast Guard The Philippine Coast Guard recently deployed its largest vessel, BRP Teresa Magbanua, along with an aircraft to confront Chinese research vessel JIA HAI KE 7 off Itbayat, Batanes. The vessel had been loitering inside the Philippine EEZ since September 28. Manila says it had no authorisation to conduct marine scientific research there. At around 7:55 a.m., Teresa Magbanua closed to less than 100 yards. A Philippine RHIB then repeatedly circled the Chinese vessel while Teresa Magbanua issued continuous radio challenges. The Chinese ship repeatedly manoeuvred away. ⚓ Then Beijing showed up A China Coast Guard vessel, CCG-2503, arrived and began challenging the Philippine ship. Instead of backing away, Teresa Magbanua shadowed the Chinese Coast Guard vessel at roughly 1,000 yards while maintaining its position near the research ship. By around 11:42 a.m., JIA HAI KE 7 finally moved from the position where it had been loitering for four days. The PCG said it would continue shadowing the vessel until it leaves the Philippine EEZ. 🧠 The bigger shift This is more significant than one research vessel being chased away. Manila is demonstrating a willingness to physically contest Chinese maritime presence instead of merely documenting it and filing diplomatic protests afterwards. That does not mean the Philippines is seeking a military confrontation. It means China’s grey-zone pressure is increasingly being met with grey-zone resistance. And there is an important detail here: the research vessel is privately owned, yet a China Coast Guard ship arrived to shield it. Philippine officials say that raises questions about the relationship between the vessel and Beijing. #Philippines #China #Batanes #WestPhilippineSea #SouthChinaSea #MaritimeSecurity #OpGridIndia

🚨Hashim Moosa Trail Deepens — SSG Profile Lists JCET Training With US Special Forces The military background of Mohammad Asif alias Hashim Moosa is becoming increasingly significant following his elimination during Operation Korag in Budgam. Map Credit- @AngryRumi7 The circulated profile lists multiple US-linked military courses, including: > VVIP Protection Course > Joint Combined Exchange Training with US Special Forces (JCET) > JCET marksmanship and medic training with US Special Forces > First-aid/medic training under US instructors 🎯This creates a remarkable trajectory: Pakistan Army soldier → SSG commando → international military exposure → Lashkar-e-Taiba → infiltration into J&K An SSG veteran entering a terrorist organisation carries capabilities accumulated over years: * Fieldcraft * Weapons handling * Navigation * Small-unit tactics * Counter-insurgency experience * Surveillance awareness 🧠 Different Ideologies — Same Pakistani Militant Ecosystem Pakistan’s major Kashmir-focused jihadist organisations do not all come from the same theological tradition. LeT → Ahl-e-Hadith / Salafi orientation JeM → Deobandi orientation Academic research places LeT firmly within Pakistan’s Ahl-e-Hadith/Salafi current, while official terrorism assessments describe JeM as a Deobandi jihadist organisation. #PakistanArmy #SSG #LashkarETaiba #PAFF #Pakistan #JammuKashmir #Hasimmusa #Hashimmoosa #OpGridIndia
🚨| From Pakistan Army SSG To LeT — Tracing Hashim Moosa's Trail Mohammad Asif alias Hashim Moosa, identified as an Ex-Havildar of the Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group (SSG), has been killed during Operation Korag in the higher reaches of Yousmarg, Budgam. The joint operation was led by the Indian Army, J&K Police and CRPF was launched on specific intelligence. 📍 Pakistan Army → Lashkar-e-Taiba According to security inputs, Mohammad Asif: • Served 23 years in the Pakistan Army • Rose to the rank of Havildar • Served with 4 Commando “Yalghar” Battalion, SSG • Retired on 31 March 2023 • Subsequently joined Lashkar-e-Taiba and infiltrated into J&K He had previously served on the security detail of former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, participated in Pakistani counter-insurgency operations in Balochistan and the former FATA, and deployed with a Pakistani contingent on a UN peacekeeping mission in Sudan. He was also reportedly decorated with the Tamgha-e-Istiqlal and Tamgha-e-Azm. A terrorist trained and decorated by the Pakistan Army’s elite special-forces establishment later emerging as an LeT commander inside J&K makes his trajectory more than an ordinary militant biography. ⚠️ A Trail Of Attacks Across J&K Moosa and his group has been linked to a series of attacks across the Pir Panjal region. These include- - December 2023 Dera Ki Gali ambush, in which four Indian soldiers were killed - May 2024 attack on an IAF convoy in Poonch Moosa and fellow terrorist Yasir were also suspected in the October 2024 Butapathri/Gulmarg attack, which killed two soldiers and two civilian porters. Moosa had remained active across the difficult forested terrain linking Poonch and central Kashmir and escaped an encounter in the Yousmarg sector earlier this month when Yasir was killed. 🎯 The Four-Man Cell Is Now Gone The photograph of four LeT/PAFF operatives that circulated widely among security watchers now has a very different status. Junaid Ahmed Bhat → Killed in 2024 Sulaiman Shah → Killed during Operation Mahadev Yasir alias Abu Talha → Killed during Operation Ashdar, September 2026 Hashim Moosa → Killed during Operation Korag, September 2026 Security sources now assess that Moosa’s killing eliminates the remaining member of that LeT group. 🧠 The Pakistan Army Connection Matters The evidence clearly establishes Moosa’s previous service in the Pakistan Army SSG and his subsequent involvement with LeT; indicating that the Pakistan Army and ISI directed his post-retirement terrorist activity. A terrorist carrying that background brings far more than a rifle across the LoC. He brings years of military training, fieldcraft, tactical knowledge and experience operating against insurgent forces. 🎯 Strategic Lens Hashim Moosa’s elimination closes the hunt for one LeT commander. The terrorist has been eliminated. The network that moved him from SSG to LeT deserves to be exposed. #PakistanArmy #SSG #LashkarETaiba #JammuKashmir #Budgam #CounterTerrorism #OpGridIndia

⚔️ | 3 Of 4 LeT Terrorists In The Picture Are Dead — Only Hasim Musa Remains “Terrorists are not invincible. They are not beyond reach.” — PM Narendra Modi Three of the four terrorists shown in the picture have now been neutralised by Indian security forces, according to the latest inputs. The second terrorist, Suleman Shah, who was reportedly involved in the #Pahalgamattack, was killed during #OperationMahadev. The first, Yasir, was recently neutralised during #OperationAshdar in Budgam. Only the fourth terrorist identified as Asif, alias Hasim Musa, remains. ⚔️ 1. Yasir’s trail ends in Budgam Yasir, a Pakistani national affiliated with Lashkar-e-Tayyiba (LeT), was reportedly involved in the December 2023 Dera Ki Gali ambush and the May 2024 attack on an Indian Air Force convoy. He had remained at large despite his alleged involvement in these attacks. That trail finally ended in Ashdar Gali, Budgam, where security forces neutralised him during the ongoing operation. 🎯 2. Suleman Shah was already eliminated The second terrorist in the picture, Suleman Shah, was reportedly involved in the Pahalgam attack. He was subsequently killed during Operation Mahadev. With Yasir now eliminated, three of the four individuals shown have been taken off the battlefield. 🏔️ 3. Hasim Musa remains The remaining terrorist, Asif alias Hasim Musa, is reportedly believed to be hiding in the upper reaches of the Pir Panjal, using natural caves and difficult mountainous terrain for concealment. An official said the search operation in Ashdar Gali continues, with security forces looking for a second terrorist believed to be Hasim Musa. The reported altitude of the suspected hiding area — approximately 12,000 to 15,500 feet — makes the operation particularly challenging. 🎯 Strategic Lens For terrorists operating in Kashmir's mountains, difficult terrain can provide concealment. But concealment is not immunity. Three names from the picture are already gone. Suleman Shah. Yasir. Two chapters closed. Only Hasim Musa reportedly remains. You can run. You can hide. But you can't hide forever. 🇮🇳 The hunt continues. #HasimMusa #LeT #Kashmir #Budgam #IndianArmy #OpGridIndia

🚨 POJK’S MESSAGE TO ISLAMABAD: THE FENCE ISN’T THE END OF THE STORY. Credit - @Goreunit A reported 25,000 people gathered at Mandhol, around 7 km from the LoC, with protesters calling for the removal of LoC fencing and the reopening of historic routes towards Poonch and Mendhar. The irony is hard to miss: Pakistan built fences to control movement. Now the people are demanding that those fences come down. 🇮🇳| Inside India’s Intelligence Grid — Five Agencies, Five Missions, One Security Architecture Behind every intercepted threat, disrupted terror module and strategic assessment lies a security architecture far more complex than the world of cinematic espionage. India’s national-security apparatus distributes different missions across specialised organisations — from foreign intelligence and counter-intelligence to military assessment, technical surveillance and terrorism investigations. 🧠 The Bigger Picture The strength lies in different disciplines feeding the wider security architecture: R&AW → External intelligence IB → Internal intelligence & counter-intelligence DIA → Military intelligence NTRO → Technical intelligence NIA → Investigation & prosecution HUMINT identifies people. TECHINT detects signatures. Military intelligence assesses capabilities and intent. Investigators reconstruct the network and build the case. 🎯 Strategic Lens Modern national security is not the work of one secret service. It is the ability to fuse human sources, technology, military assessment and law enforcement into a coherent picture before a threat achieves strategic effect. Different agencies. Different missions. One national-security grid. #India #RAW #IntelligenceBureau #DIA #NTRO #NIA #NationalSecurity #OpGridIndia

📍 NIA — From Intelligence Lead To Courtroom Evidence The National Investigation Agency occupies a fundamentally different part of this ecosystem. NIA was created under the NIA Act, 2008, following the recognition that terrorism increasingly involved interstate and international networks requiring a specialised federal investigative capability. The agency itself describes its role as India’s Central Counter Terrorism Law Enforcement Agency. Its jurisdiction covers scheduled national-security offences involving areas such as: • Terrorism under UAPA • Explosive substances • Cyber terrorism • Certain serious Arms Act offences • Hijacking • Maritime terrorism • Weapons of mass destruction-related offences The 2019 amendment went further. NIA can investigate specified offences committed outside India when Indian citizens or Indian interests are affected, subject to the statutory framework. The Central Government can also direct NIA to take over a Scheduled Offence suo motu. That gives NIA a different mission from IB or R&AW: Intelligence identifies the network. NIA has to prove the network. The agency currently reports 690 registered cases and a conviction rate above 92% in cases where judgment has been pronounced. #India #RAW #IntelligenceBureau #DIA #NTRO #NIA #Intelligence #NationalSecurity #OpGridIndia

🧠 The Hidden Layer — MAC & NATGRID The agencies are only part of the story. The real challenge is making their information speak to each other. That is where systems such as MAC and NATGRID become critical. As of March 2026, the Government says NATGRID connects: 11 Central User Agencies 28 State police forces 8 Union Territory police forces 11 data-providing organisations Its secure architecture links authorised agencies with information including immigration, banking, telecom and travel records. NATGRID is also developing an Organised Crime Network Database, while its GANDIVA analytics tool supports multi-source intelligence analysis. #India #RAW #IntelligenceBureau #DIA #NTRO #NIA #Intelligence #NationalSecurity #OpGridIndia

🚨| BLF’s New Female Combat Unit Makes Debut With Ambush on Pakistan Army Convoy In Kalat The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) claims its newly formed Karima Armed Assault Division (KAAD) carried out another operation against Pakistani military forces in Mangochar, Kalat District, on 25 September. According to BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the group established blockades and patrols in the area before KAAD’s female combatants engaged military convoys reportedly arriving from Kalat and Mastung as reinforcements. The BLF claims: • Multiple Pakistani personnel were killed or wounded • Three military vehicles were destroyed • One of the vehicles was armoured • Clashes remained underway when its statement was issued 📍 KAAD Is Moving Quickly BLF announced KAAD only days ago. The unit claimed its first armed operation on 22 September near Turbat, targeting a Pakistan Army Action Task Force convoy on the CPEC highway. The following day, BLF released footage showing female members undergoing weapons and combat training. If the latest Mangochar claim is confirmed, KAAD has moved rapidly from: Turbat → Kalat — extending its claimed operational presence from southern Balochistan into another active insurgency belt. 🧠 The Bigger Picture KAAD appears designed to serve two functions simultaneously: Combat capability → Direct participation in armed operations Information warfare → Demonstrating that BLF recruitment now extends visibly to women #Balochistan #BLF #KAAD #PakistanArmy #Pakistan #Kalat

🚨MHA Declares Entire State of Manipur 'Disturbed' — AFSPA Footprint Extended The Ministry of Home Affairs has extended the “disturbed area” designation under the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958 across most of Manipur for another six months. The order takes effect from 1 October 2026 and will remain in force for six months unless withdrawn earlier, following a review of the state's law-and-order situation. 📍 13 Police Station Areas Remain Exempt AFSPA will continue to apply across Manipur except areas falling under 13 police stations in five districts: Imphal West: Imphal, Lamphel, City, Singjamei, Patsoi, Wangoi Imphal East: Porompat, Heingang, Irilbung Thoubal: Thoubal Bishnupur: Bishnupur, Nambol Kakching: Kakching 🧠 The Bigger Picture This is effectively a continuation of the existing AFSPA footprint, rather than a fresh geographical expansion. The previous notification, effective from 1 April 2026, excluded the same 13 police stations while keeping the remainder of Manipur under the Act. That continuity indicates that, after another security review, the Centre still assesses conditions across large parts of Manipur as warranting the continued availability of Armed Forces support to the civil administration. #Manipur #AFSPA #MinistryOfHomeAffairs #InternalSecurity #NortheastIndia #OpGridIndia

🇮🇷 Iran’s Qasem Basir Enters The Fight — US Warships Facing A 'Carrier Destroyer' “This special missile created hell for the Americans, and they fled.” — Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Iran has put a new weapon into the naval fight — the Qasem Basir, a medium-range ballistic missile reportedly designed to engage moving naval targets. And its combat debut has forced the US Navy to confront a different kind of threat in the waters around Iran. 📍 The September 5 attack CENTCOM confirmed that Iranian ballistic missiles were launched towards a US aircraft carrier and a guided-missile destroyer. Washington said the ships successfully evaded the attacks, with no US personnel injured and no damage reported. Iran, however, claimed the vessels were forced to withdraw after being targeted. The identity of the missile used was not confirmed by CENTCOM. Iranian sources and subsequent reporting have identified the weapon as the Qasem Basir. 📍 What makes Qasem Basir different? Iran unveiled the Qasem Basir in 2025 with a declared range of approximately 1,200 km. The missile is reported to use electro-optical guidance in its terminal phase, potentially allowing it to engage moving targets rather than relying solely on pre-programmed coordinates. 🧠 But Tehran’s claims need separating from the evidence Iranian officials have portrayed the September 5 engagement as a breakthrough and claimed the missile forced American vessels away. CENTCOM's account is substantially different: the incoming missiles were defeated and the ships suffered no damage. Independent confirmation that a Qasem Basir actually struck — or damaged — a US warship does not exist. So the evidence supports a genuine Iranian ballistic-missile attack on US naval forces. It does not support claims that Iran successfully hit a carrier. ⚓ And the US Navy has not simply disappeared Claims circulating online that Washington has completely withdrawn its warships from the Gulf of Oman and Arabian Sea are not supported by the latest public fleet tracking. USNI reported on September 21 that USS George Washington and USS George H.W. Bush were operating in the Arabian Sea, alongside their carrier strike groups and supporting vessels. That makes the strategic picture more interesting — not less. The question is no longer whether American carriers are present. It is how close they can safely operate to Iran's missile engagement envelope while continuing blockade and maritime operations. #Iran #QasemBasir #USNavy #IranWar #StraitOfHormuz #AntiShipMissile #NavalWarfare #OpGridIndia
