It sits alongside the existing Alpha framework: senior overcollateralization, a first-loss tranche (yzPP), a Reserve Fund, and continuous monitoring. Those controls are designed to mitigate loss scenarios. Cover is a complementary layer for residual tail exposures they are not designed to remove.
