P2P is a new kind of onchain ramp infrastructure.
Its ground-up design enables properties that traditional ramps simply weren’t built to provide.
- Privacy by design. Anonymity enabled through ZK-KYC, without compromising fraud prevention.
- Censorship resistance. Built on
@base, with community governance enabled by
@MetaDAOProject.
- Community-operated. People helping people, rather than relying entirely on a centralised operator.
- Open and composable. Infrastructure anyone can build on through
@p2pkitdotcom.
Why does this matter?
- Privacy matters. Ramps are a critical point of identity exposure to governments, corporations and hackers. Users deserve better.
- Self-custody matters. Onchain infrastructure allows users to retain control of their funds instead of trusting a centralised exchange with their assets.
- Decentralisation matters. Community operation and governance can reduce dependence on centralised control and single points of failure.
- Open infrastructure matters. When anyone can build on the same rails, developers can create applications and financial products we can’t even imagine today.
Emerging markets need more than access to crypto. They need financial infrastructure built around privacy, self-custody, resilience and permissionless innovation.
These properties won’t emerge from putting a new interface on top of the old system.
They require entirely new infrastructure, built from the ground up.
That’s what we’re building with P2P. 🫡
