KRAFTON has shut down development on their PUBG Black Budget extraction shooter.
IMO extraction shooters peaked last year with ARC Raiders and now that the masses have experienced the game loop, they've realized it's not a good long term genre to commit their time to.
As much as I enjoy Project Zomboid gameplay, I think it's a disaster of a product overall.
The fact that I can't run a vanilla game on a Ryzen7 9800X3D + 5080 + 32GB RAM without stutter or hitching when moving tile to tile is crazy.
It's a great game, built terribly. 😕
American Truck Simulator (great game IMO) just broke their all time Steam concurrent player count, over a decade after it launched.
They added the Ford Road Trip car and truck pack today.
Seems like that's a winning combo.
Looks like PvE ARC Raiders is closer to being real. I’ll absolutely come back to this if there’s a PvE path. The most fun I had in my hundreds of hours topside was fighting the ARC with friends.
Today's studio update from Bungie is exactly what I was hoping they'd do. I've dog piled on Marathon in the past and I still don't like that game, but I certainly like Destiny and welcome a renewed focus on it as the "FOUNDATION" of Bungie.
Eyes up ...
I took a longer look at Jump Space from @KeepsakeGames this weekend. I had put it down after launch for a number of reasons.
Wow has this game improved since then, highly recommended if you like Deep Rock Galactic style co-op fun (less mining and dwarf humor tho).
Hey @WARDOGS, the driver (even if dead) should get credit for these kinds of vehicle kills. I sacrificed my life (and vehicle) to protect the team this guy was creeping on.
Hey @WARDOGS, is this a bug or a cheater? I'm clearly getting shot by either an invisible player, or someone behind a concrete wall. You can see exactly where he shoots from in the screenshot.
Lots of good comments in this thread, thanks for that. Seems like the consensus is desync plus a "kill cam" that really can't be trusted to show where the shot came from, but instead where the person is who shot you once the cam zooms into them (after the shot).
"When opened, it's the thinnest iphone ever" ... yeah, because that's when it matters most.
Meanwhile, "when folded, it's almost as thick as two iPhones in your pocket at the same time".
I'm hearing they didn't add quick stack or craft from nearby boxes. At this stage of the survival crafting game evolution ... these are table stakes.
We can literally teleport yourself in the game but not magically move/stack things in and out of chests.
We’re proud to announce that #Valheim 1.0 is out now! Gather your friends, sharpen your axes and check out the patch notes below. We’ll see you in the tenth realm! valheim.com/news/valheim-1-0…
Imagine living with an LG spy TV in your bedroom for years and now realizing that it has recorded and uploaded EVERY. SOUND. YOU’VE. EVER. MADE. IN. BED.
I put about 10 hours into @WARDOGS this weekend and I'm not 100% sold on it. I've played Squad and Arma a bit and the reason I stopped playing those games is due to the same reason I'm not sure about Wardogs.
Matches that usually take an hour to finish is a tough commit.
