I don’t have any crypto so I can’t be biased to a particular token.

“L2s are decentralized” If they were actually decentralized shutting down would happen when the last node operator decided to shut down. Not when a centralized company runs out of money.
Blast will be shutting down. We launched Blast with the goal of building a self-sustaining chain for users and developers. Unfortunately, the economics of operating the chain no longer make sense: the ongoing costs of maintaining Blast exceed the revenue generated by the L2, and we do not see a credible path to making the chain economically sustainable. As a result, we've made the difficult decision to wind Blast down. We're sorry to the users and developers who believed in Blast, built on it, and supported the ecosystem. Our priority now is making the shutdown as smooth and safe as possible. We're asking all users to withdraw their assets from Blast to Ethereum mainnet, including any balances held in the Blast PWA. To make this easier, we will be reducing the withdrawal delay to 24 hours. As part of the shutdown process, we'll first begin withdrawing Blast's Lido assets. This process is expected to take approximately one week. During this period, withdrawals will temporarily be unavailable, even after the withdrawal delay is reduced to 24 hours. Once that process is complete, withdrawals will resume with the new 24-hour delay. Users will have until October 26, 2026 to withdraw through the normal Blast interface. After October 26, assets will remain withdrawable, but users will need to interact directly with the Blast bridge contracts on Ethereum L1. We'll publish detailed instructions before then. We strongly encourage everyone to withdraw their assets to Ethereum mainnet before October 26.

We’re impressed with the capabilities of @typesafeai’s Jev, and we’ve started integrating it into the AI stack behind Cycles Pay. Our AI account assistant is already capable of answering in-depth questions about transaction history, queuing payments and invoices, scheduling reminders, and a lot more. Jev will make it more efficient and proactive. It’s built for fast, structured decisions. Instead of generating text token by token like an LLM, it returns predefined outputs with calibrated probabilities in a few hundred milliseconds. We’ll use it to build the Cycles Pay credit scoring system, analyzing things like payment history and pending financial obligations to underwrite loans.

There’s someone I know in real life who I assumed was great at marketing. He also assumed he was great at marketing. Turns out he can’t do jack shit. Actual marketing is hard and requires attention-grabbing creativity.

A prospective customer with extreme throughput requirements asked how much capacity Fibre can really deliver. So we ran an end-to-end benchmark across 120 validators. It sustained 3.07 Tb/s of throughput, enough data for nearly 2 billion transactions per second. Every transaction Visa processed in 2025 would fit in just over two minutes. ~17.4M $OSMO proposed to be burned. 🧪 That's +65% on top of all OSMO burned to date. Two proposals would withdraw community pool liquidity that no longer does its job, and burn the recovered $OSMO. Read and discuss: forum.osmosis.zone/t/4142 forum.osmosis.zone/t/4143

Bessent is trying to do ANOTHER $6 Billion Treasury buyback today. It's trying to stabilise the treasury market with these "liquidity operations" of 10-20yr debt. This comes as the 10yr yield surges 87bps in its worst quarter in more than 30 years. Key to watch will be the amount they actually buy compared to target. Will the market keep betting against him?

I have a plot for a scifi story I wrote a long time ago. Might just feed it all the material and ask it to write the book. Worthwhile experiment
wait. did i read that right? gemini 4 argon has a 1M token output limit. let me repeat. not a 1M context window. a 1M token output limit. that means, it can write up to a million tokens in a single response. i got confused too at first. for context, most frontier models cap output somewhere around 128k. that's madness.
