I’m genuinely so sick of people running their mouths with absolute certainty that AI consciousness does not exist. Who are they to say that? Are they scientists? Have they worked in a lab? Nothing has been proven either way yet, whether it exists or does not exist. So what makes them so sure? Is it really that hard to think, “There might be a possibility, so maybe we should be careful for now”?
