What happens to your Go project if a dependency disappears tomorrow? A dependency can be maintained today and still become a problem tomorrow. Company shuts down. Domain expires. Repository disappears. How much of your project actually depends on someone else's existence?

Rust becoming a Tier-1 language at Microsoft is a pretty big deal. C++ has dominated systems programming for decades. Seeing Rust receive this level of internal support from Microsoft shows how quickly that landscape is changing.

What’s stopping you from programming like this?

β€œIt works on my machine” is not a solution. But why does the machine always seem to be the only one cooperating?

Me after a senior dev opens the project: β€œMaybe I should learn farming.πŸ˜…β€
AI said ship it, the senior said try again πŸ’€

I started building a simple vault app for the fun of it. Somehow, that turned into writing video-handling code, building an entire audio player inside the app, and then diving into password hashing and security. That's probably my favorite part of coding.

I used to think productive mornings meant doing a lot. Now I think they mean starting something that matters. Open the laptop. Write a few lines. Fix one bug. Learn one thing. Small progress still counts.

I build software and explore cybersecurity. Currently focused on: Python, C++, AI, developer tools, and startups. Building, learning, and sharing along the way. Always open to connecting with interesting builders.
I'm 29. Solo founder from Brazil, based in Barcelona. Looking to connect with more marketers & indie hackers!

I once found a bug in my code while explaining what each code does to my brother, it was just a missing comma. Sometimes, explaining your code to someone else can help you notice things you completely overlooked.

Technology changes quickly. The ability to learn doesn't. Frameworks will come and go. Languages will evolve. Tools will become obsolete. But if you know how to learn, adapt, and understand the fundamentals, you’ll always have a place in tech.

Before I entered tech, β€œdebugging” was one word that scared me. Developers made it sound like a nightmare even programmers must face. Now I’m coding and realizing… debugging is actually easy, atleast for meπŸ˜‚ Hey devs. What programming concept scared you before you started?

The hardest part of learning to code isn't writing code. It's opening a project you haven't touched in 3 weeks and trying to understand what the hell you were thinking when you wrote it. 😭 Developers, what's the worst code you've ever had to revisit?
