They claimed they were just patriots kicking out “foreigners.” In reality it was Israeli officers running the operation so they could blow up PLO offices and Palestinian neighborhoods to help create conditions that could justify a larger Israeli operation in Lebanon.
Dozens of bombs. Hundreds dead. Mostly civilians.
