That’s why I introduced the Wigs for Warriors Act with @RepPressley to require TRICARE to cover cranial prostheses for people with alopecia areata and other non-cancer conditions causing permanent or medically documented hair loss.
Everyone deserves access to the care and support they need to feel comfortable and confident.

Christa Pike's botched execution is a horrifying reminder of the cruelty & inhumanity of the death penalty.
State-sanctioned killing is barbaric and it's time we end this unjust punishment once & for all.
In a stunning twist of events, Tennessee failed to execute #ChristaPike tonight - a second botched execution (or attempt) this year.
The same physician who presided over the botched execution of Tony Carruthers earlier this year, was also involved in tonight's fiasco.
After the first lethal dose of pentobarbital failed to kill Christa, they administered another. More than an hour later she was still alive. Emergency services showed up at the prison and hauled her off. It has been confirmed that she is STILL ALIVE.
It is unclear what comes next, if she'll ultimately survive, or what kind of impact receive two massive, deadly doses of the barbiturate will have on a living person.
TDOC officials closed the curtain to the witness chamber multiple times. Media reports that they could audibly still hear her breathing while curtains remained closed. Ultimately they were escorted out while it was clear Christa was still alive.
We will do our best to keep you informed on tonight's INSANE series of events.
