Judge Edelman just permanently (“with prejudice”) dismissed the farcical charges brought against my wonderful constituent Davey Hearn. As Judge Edelman pointed out, there was “no crime” so there’s no reason to hold the case up for further counterfeit prosecutions. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro never had any evidence against Davey, a three-time Olympian who has taught generations of my constituents canoeing, kayaking and how not to spend $15 million of taxpayer money turning your swimming pool into an algae farm. Trump’s prosecutorial deflecting pool picked Davey as a scapegoat for Trump's Mar-a-Lago pool guy’s “rushed and botched” installation job of a new Royal hue in America’s Reflecting Pool, now known throughout the DMV as the "Strait of Warm Ooze." So many Marylanders, led by Rockville Councilmember Adam Van Grack, stood strong with Davey as he fought these murky, trumped-up bogus charges. Now America celebrates a victory for justice and the rule of law. The latest commercial tries to rally the dwindling MAGA base by reminding them that Trump once posed as a fighter against warmongers and a corrupt political establishment, but the recycled ad just sharply reminds everyone that the lying Trump is the war-maker-in-chief and presides over the most corrupt presidential administration in U.S. history. The Communist Party of China controls all major media entities in China to assure total ideological alignment with the CCP. Trump oddly calls lots of people Communist, but he’s the one censoring the press, claiming large chunks of American companies, and constantly praising Xi, Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin, the former chief of the KGB. Is Trump a Communist?

Human rights must be the driving force of America's foreign policy. At their White House meeting, will President Trump raise Chinese human rights violations against Tibetans, Uyghurs and the people of Hong Kong with President Xi or will Trump remain silent on the oppression that's taking place in China? Will this just be two lawless autocrats looking out for the oligarchs and dictators?

Tomorrow, the U.S.-China summit begins at the White House. During the meeting, President Trump must urge President Xi to abandon the dystopian Ethnic Unity and Progress Law, meant to repress ethnic minorities and silence critics across the globe.
