Another mother, Colleen Nichole Lemmon, 42, of Waxahachie, Texas, has been charged with two counts of capital murder in the shooting deaths of her sons on October 1, 2026.
Police responded early Thursday morning to an unknown emergency after receiving a 911 call. They found two boys inside with gunshot wounds, Christopher Scott Pitre, 21, who was dead at the scene, and his 15-year-old brother that was taken to the hospital in critical condition—he died later from his injuries.
The mother had non-life threatening injuries, and after being treated at the hospital, was booked and taken to the Wayne McCollum Detention Center.
