Springtrap has a very distinctive face withering and snout shape, alongside this permanent funky smile crease around the snout, you just gotta fix that up and it's good! (also slightly smaller eyes help)

Fusing the nasals has never happened with Yangchuanosaurus, not even in the 90s, this is just the result of looking only at the side views
As evidenced by Gregory Paul's own work, he mentions and depicts 2 ridges
I do hope the male has both like people are saying though!
OK, i finally understand what the issue is; there should be 2 nasal crests, yet there's only one. But then those tall lacrimals create a similar ish silhouette
Though since fusing the nasals is a thing with 90s Yang art, I think it's kind of a genius "both worlds" idea?

Aggghhhhrrr The colors are SO pretty and I REALLY want to like it but they forgot the most defining feature of Metriacanthosaurs which is the 2 separate nasal crests on each side, they just turned it into 1 at the middle Tyrannosaur style

And I think some more angular and robust shaping would help it fit more with the JP style

Like, it's SO CLOSE to looking great, you just need to rearrange the spike flow, adjust the eye position and mouthline, give it a more accurate jaw, change the hand shape a bit, and that's it, you got a perfectly good JP-ish Giga

My biggest issue with JWD's designs is that so many are really close to being good takes on stylized versions of the animal, but the heads tend to ruin them real bad
For example JWR does a pretty good job with stylizing it's critters such as Spino without making them akward
